I had the privilege of exploring Rapa Nui with our guide, and it was unforgettable! From the moment we started, Tokerau’s deep knowledge of the island’s history, Moai, and culture kept us captivated. He went out of their way to make sure we felt connected to this magical place, and his passion shone through every story. He even helped us find some hidden spots! Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, made perfect by our guide. Five stars, no hesitation!

Incredible experience. It was quite interesting to learn how the Rapa Nui used the stars and constellations as a map to find new islands.

We thoroughly enjoyed (and were in awe of) the Star-Gazing Tour on Rapa Nui. Tokerau, our guide, is very personable and funny. He is also very knowledgeable about astronomy and the history of the Rapa Nui people. It was not only an opportunity to look with wonder at the stars from such a beautiful and remote place but Tokerau and his brother Itamar made it a unique and meaningful cultural experience. If you are even slightly interested in astronomy, don’t pass this tour up. It is guaranteed to be a highlight of your trip to Rapa Nui, and may become one of the most unforgettable tours you’ve ever taken (like it is for us). Thanks for everything, Tokerau and Itamar!

It was a unique experience, in addition to observing stars, planets and nebulae, it was a class of history of the ancient explorers of Polynesia, ancestral songs of the island and astronomy.

I did several tours during my time on Easter Island, and the stargazing tour stood head and shoulders above every single one of them. I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. What sets this experience apart is how much depth the guides bring. This wasn’t just pointing a telescope at the sky — they wove together the science of the stars with the story of the Rapa Nui people: their Polynesian origins, their extraordinary ocean navigation, their culture and history. It was genuinely educational in the best possible way, and the guides delivered it all with warmth, humor, and real expertise. The telescope itself was impressive and professional-grade, and the nighttime astrophotography session was an absolute highlight — I came away with photos I’ll treasure. The guides made sure every single person in the group had a great experience, not just the ones who already knew astronomy. And the price? Frankly, a steal. They should be charging significantly more for what they deliver. If you’re visiting Rapa Nui, this is a non-negotiable. Book it.

This was the best tour I have taken on Rapa Nui. Traditional songs, astronomy, archaeology… all of it was amazing. You must take this tour.
