Never before have you seen such resilience, warm, love & the resolve to keep the Rastafarian movement alive after been heavily criticized and brutalized by other groups during & after the 1930’s when the movement started in Jamaica, hence the song done by the reggae legend Bob Marley "Rasta Man Live up". They welcomed us in a friendly manner and passionately described their culture and way of life. They receive no help from the government, they depend on tourism and donations to survive. The transport was comfortable, with air conditioning, the driver was very good and very friendly all the time, as is to be expected in Jamaica (one love). They served us a small vegetarian dish, very tasty and well presented, I think it is a highly recommended experience.

Learning about the rasta movement and its origins. Everyone we met were very knowledgeable, Queen I and her brother in particular, both very nice. We ate their food which was superb and was treated to a concert. Ok, so we bought hand made soap and trinkets, but were glad to do so.
