Founder Led Tour . Experience the home of Maharani Gin and Ireland's only Absinthe, Rebel City Distillery, Cork city’s first distillery in 50 years. Just a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Established in 2020, Rebel City is a craft distillery breathing new life into Cork’s historic docklands. Situated in the old Ford Car Factory, a Cork Landmark that has lain dormant for decades, the distillery draws on the innovations of the past to inspire the creations of the future. A fusion of two creative cultures. Maharani Gin, our first release, celebrates our founder’s roots, Cork, Ireland and Kerala, India where husband and wife team, Robert and Bhagya, come from. Maharani means queen and is a tribute to strong women everywhere and a tribute to women’s organic farming co-operative in Kerala, India where botanicals are sourced from . We are also makers of Ireland's only Absinthe .

First distillery in Cork city in 50 years and the only distillery in heart of Cork city .Set in the repurposed Ford Car Factory, a Cork Landmark that has lain dormant for decades, the distillery draws on the innovations of the past to inspire the creations of the future. With a Gin and Tonic in hand, enjoy a guided tour of the Rebel City boutique craft distillery. 5.00A brilliant experience at Rebel City Distillery. The tour was relaxed, informative and really enjoyable, and Bhagya was so friendly and knowledgeable. The spirits were excellent too. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cork.

5.00Great tour of the distillery by one of the founders! Our tour was led by Bhagya, wife and co-founder of the company. Bhagya in her own witty ways gave us good insight into the key components, sourcing, and distillery process of their wonderful Maharani Gin, Vodka, and Absinthe. She makes the ingredients of the flavors come alive throughout the tasting of their products. In addition she told us all about the challenges of starting a business while the entire world was forced to shut down. This is a tour you do not want to miss!

5.00We visited for a tour on Friday, 29th May, 3 friends visiting Cork for the weekend. We had a fantastic time at Rebel City Distillery. The gin tasting experience was really personalised and made so much fun by the host, who was friendly, engaging, and full of energy throughout. It felt much more interactive and personal than a typical distillery tour, and you could really see the passion behind what they do. We had such a great laugh while also learning about the gin-making process and tasting some amazing spirits. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cork — a brilliant way to spend an afternoon. We visited Blackrock Castle restaurant the next day for dinner and Maharani gin was on the menu. We look forward to your gin being available on Tesco in the future.

5.00What a fantastic experience. I was so impressed with Rebel City. Their enthusiasm and love for their craft was infectious. The backstory, the set up, remarkable. Bhagya was amazing, she made everyone welcome and her knowledge was superb. Now let’s get to the gin, vodka, and absinthe. Well quite frankly gorgeous. I am an absinthe convert. As we are from the UK with no stored luggage so we couldn’t take the vodka and absinthe with us. However 2 bottles of gin were purchased dutifully at duty free. I will be purchasing more in the future from Amazon. However please can a national start stocking the vodka and absinthe. A campaign is surely required. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Best part of our trip to Cork.
