What To Expect
In the heart of Helsinki, try how it feels floating around in cold water staying completely warm and dry. With our instructor, hear about rescue at sea, hypotermia and about the benefits in starting ice swimming! Relax lying on top of the water or jump around on floating ice rafts during the winter season (when there is ice). This activity is always done in natural conditions and in the water. In open water season we focus on the rescue at sea, relaxation and also survival techniques. In ice conditions we focus on ice behavior, its effects and relaxation. You can come as you are in normal seasonal clothing to a on-shore location agreed. We provide you with everything you need for the float. Locations may vary due to weather conditions.

5.00The training team was patient and encouraging. The first time I have done this so we were a little scared. The team put us at ease and we quickly built confidence in the survival suits. Soon we were jumping on the ice to breakthrough. I was concerned about how I would get out of the water and back on solid ice. The instructor explained his technique and it made exiting very easy. I would definitely try this if you have a chance.

5.00Such a nice experience of surviving course on the ice. Though the sea was frozen, we could swim in the iceholes, have fun and enjoy the sun 🌞 Olli the guide was very nice, explained everything clearly and cared for everyone’s safety and comfort during the course. 10/10.

5.00Ollie was a wonderful guide and the experience was amazing! We all really enjoyed swimming in the icy Baltic Sea and really didn’t feel the cold. It was a unique experience that my family will hold dear in our memories!
