We had a wonderful tour with Thomas. He gave us a detailed history of the area and France. He is also very knowledgeable about the world champagnes. We learnt a lot. On the way back it was very kind and generous of him to drop us off at Champagne Ardenne station, even though it was not part of the trip.

We enjoyed a very informative explanation of champagne production enhanced by visuals such as the vines growing on the hillsides and the impressive cellars housing the presses and bottles of champagne. Our guide Martin entertained us with his phenomenal knowledge and a great sense of humour! The champagne tasting was fabulous as was the company of the other participants.
