What To Expect
Board the Board the boat at the Great Sandy Straits Marina. Cruise the waters of the Great Sandy Strait passing Big Woody Island and Pelican Bank. Cruise the calm waters of the Great Sandy Strait and be on the look out for dolphins, turtles, rays and fish. Kayak, swim, snorkel, hike at various locations on the West Coast of K'gari (Fraser Island) which may include Wathumba Creek, Awinya Creek and Bowrarrady Creek. Or enjoy a relaxing beach walk along a pristine white sandy beach.

3.00It’s a while since this trip but feel now I should do the review. The trip was good and we all signed a form, however I had a bad accident which could have been avoided and was rushed to shore with a split head - with the sea biscuiting on the island . I went out with two Italians who had a go pro attached to their wrists- this should be a big no for safety, especially after filling a form in , they should show all due care and this was so scary especially in Aussie waters with blood. I hope this is going to be avoided for the future safety of people. The staff did refund us and took me to hospital where I had stitches , however I felt more could be done and more follow ups as now I’ve a scar on my forehead . I was so looking forward to this trip and will go back as up to that point it was fabulous. I wanted to swim with turtles and missed that part, but saw the huge amount of whales. I live in nz so will def go back and try do again.

5.00Absolutely fabulous day on Fraser Island. We did so many activities but no pressure to do anything you didn’t feel comfortable with. Loved the Kayaking, tubing (so much fun) and the island is just stunning 🤩. The crew were brilliant, Taylor, Reece and Damon so knowledgeable and professional but good fun too. Would highly recommend this trip, we had a fabulous day.
