Lake Mansion

The Lake Mansion in Reno, built in 1877 as a symbol of upper-middle-class affluence, has a haunting legacy tied to its original owner, Myron Lake, who was never allowed to live in the house. The mansion is said to be haunted by Myron’s restless spirit, along with the sorrowful apparition of Jane Lake, creating an eerie atmosphere that reflects the family's tragic history.

This tour with Debbie is not recommended. Her energy was low, voice not that audible, would trail off and forget where she was at, was coughing and hacking, and had an injured arm she complained of every 10 minutes. The tour lasted 30 minutes longer than advertised and two people in the group wanted to leave before it was even over. The other two paid for an extended tour but declined the extension at the end. The potential for the tour is there but I wouldn't recommend it with this guide, unfortunately.

Paul was a very knowledgeable guide, it was a great experience to do near Halloween! Quite a fun and informative tour. Definitely worth checking out if you’re spending a night in Reno.

We truly enjoyed the walking tour through downtown Reno. Our guide was very friendly & knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the mob history of the area. I highly recommend this tour. It's a great way to spend an evening.

It did not, it was boring. We have been on many ghost tours, and this was a waste of time. Getting out into the fresh air and walking was memorable.

We had so much fun!! Definitely worth every penny!! It was also a great walk and to see parts of Reno that I had never seen!! Judith was super friendly and very knowledgeable on every aspect included in the tour!! Saw cool sights and even experienced snapping a photo of one of the spirits (photo attached if you zoom in on the left window about the word “BOOKS” you can see the outline of a boys face)!! Thank you for the amazing time and will definitely do more of these tours!!!
