Pick up a SUP take it to the river or a lake and learn or paddle on your own. A lesson is recommended, but if you have experience then paddle on! PFD, Helmet, and Paddle included. Don't forget to bring some shoes you can swim in!

What To Expect
Your rental gear (boats) will be picked up at the main base. If you have made prior arrangements for DVK to deliver your equipment we will need to confirm those locations prior to the date of rental.

Great 1/2 day trip on the Arkansas!!

5.00We rented stand up paddle boards for an afternoon trip between Big Bend & Salida. Dvorak was very communicative leading up to the trip, as we had never been to the area before, and easily accommodated our desire for an unguided trip. We picked up the boards from them, put in at Big Bend, and hauled out at Salida, where Dvorak had moved our car to. Had a quick beer & snack at High Side Bar & Grill, and then returned our SUPs. Only head's up we could have used: more information about the boat chute by the dam. Wasn't quite sure what it was & misjudged the rapid for a bit of a wipe out. I would have taken the short portage if done again. We were glad we brought a dry bag! Other than that, thank you Dvorak for a great experience!!
