John was fantastic! He shared many interesting facts about Icelandic History. The places we went were wonderful - just right for a sampling of the best of Iceland. I really enjoyed every moment of the tour and it just flew by!

We did the Nordic Nonsense food tour and it was hands down the best food and drink experience we had in Iceland. Jon, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it shows throughout the tour. I’ve done food tours in other countries, and this one was completely different in the best way. It didn’t feel rushed or overly structured—it felt like being shown around by someone who genuinely knows and loves the local scene. The portions were full-size for both food and drinks—not just small tastings—and it was absolutely worth the money. Every stop was great, and the food and drinks were consistently the best we had on the entire trip. If you’re considering this—do it. Easily one of the highlights of our trip.

We had the most amazing time during our Nordic Nonsense food tour. Our tour guide Jon, who brought a bright and fun experience to an otherwise rainy and gloomy day, exceeded all expectations. I’ve been on a few other food tours in other countries, but Jon combined iconic Iceland cuisine picks with a wide area of Reykjavik historical tidbits that showed a true mastery and respect of the Icelandic culture. Great food, great drinks, great company. 10/10 must do if visiting.

Jon and colleague Atli provided our group a superb 4h experience. We always enjoy food tours when we travel but Jon's food tour was one of the best we have done! It was a delightful mix of walking through downtown Reykjavík, learning about Icelandic history while experiencing delicious food and beverage stops, with many special highlights along the way. Bring your appetite! Thank you Jon for a very memorable tour.

Excellent food ( and drink) tour in Rejkavick. Jon was an engaging guide with lots of local knowledge... both of the culinary scene in the city and the local history too. He was joined by Atli who was just as informative with lots of jokes shared as we walked. Lots of excellent food choices and local drinks a plenty. Well worth it as a first night activity in the city

I wouldn’t have changed a thing about this tour. Our guide was like a friend walking us to each stop and sharing history, culture, and great food and drinks. The variety was perfect and the length of the tour was great. 10/10 recommend for anyone coming to Reykjavík
