This is a great way to try a variety of local foods without having to research places to eat or wait in line - even better if you're travelling solo and don't have people to share multiple dishes with. The group size is perfect to chat with other travellers and still be able to ask the guide questions. Lenny was great - funny and shared a lot of good tips for tourists as well as insight into what life is like in Iceland.

This tour was not only a wonderful way to get to experience some of the wonderful Icelandic traditional foods, but a great way to see the city! Our guide, Thor, was amazing, personable, and very knowlegeable about the food, the city, the culture and the country. The follow up email from Thor also had great tips (that we used) for other places to eat and things to do. Highly recommend this as a starting point for any visit to Reykjavik.

Our food tour with Alfie was a great first-day-in-Iceland experience! We wanted to get grounded in the local food culture and this tour was just the thing. Alfie was a vivacious guide - so friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend the experience. Food in Iceland is very expensive so having this guided tasting opportunity was excellent value for money. P.S. The fermented shark wasn't as bad as I feared! Lol

Great experience and good. Appreciated Lenny, his knowledge, and his humor! We started as a group of strangers and left as mates.

Mimir was an excellent guide, very engaging with lots of great stories and bits of Icelandic history thrown in. Took us to some excellent places to eat, I would recommend this tour at the beginning of your holiday because it will give you some great inspiration where to eat and drink for the rest of your time in Reykjavik. Mimir delivers an excellent tour and I strongly recommend, great value as well, I recommend you turn up hungary.

The tour guide (Siggy) was outstanding. The spots were fun and the food was great. I appreciated the opportunity to participate in the shark ritual.

We had a fantastic food tour today with our guide, Day. He was fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and did a great job blending Icelandic history, culture, and food into a really memorable experience. We tried places we never would have found on our own, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend this tour—and if you can, ask for Day!

Unreal, unbelievable, and so worth it! Ben was a fantastic guide who not only explained all of the dishes and drinks we had, but made us all feel welcome. I was running late to the meeting point, and I was blown away that Ben called me to make sure I could find them. I came to the Food Walk directly from my flight, and I’m so glad I did because two of the five locations were on my list of places to try while I was in town. This is a MUST do! Beyond impressed with the company and with our guide. Skal, Ben!
