A great introduction to Reykjavik with a knowledgeable local guide, with some lovely food stops. We did this on our first night, and it’s a perfect way to start a break in Iceland! Highly recommended

Reykjavík has such an unexpected and amazing food scene that this tour is a great way to taste a little bit of everything while also getting to know the layout of the city. Especially if you have as great of a tour guide as we did, her name was “Bonnie”. A definite must outside all of the hiking and sightseeing activities Iceland has to offer!

We just wrapped up this food walk with Dagur, and it was amazing! Perfectly paced, hit all the great spots, tried classic Icelandic dishes in authentic restaurants and bars. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This was a great way to kick off our trip to Reykjavik. Our guide Mimir was friendly and engaging and did a great job of explaining Icelandic food traditions and answering all our culture questions as well. It was a fun evening, the food was delicious, and we enjoyed the company of the other travelers.

Bonnie/Bara was an amazing guide. She was super friendly and easy to talk too. She was warm and welcoming any and all questions. We had a lovely conservation all along the way. She was great and anyone is lucky to get her as a guide!

Mimir was an amazing guide smart, funny, and let us move at our own pace. The food was awesome (definitely still thinking about how good the hot dog was) and mimir was very knowledgeable about all the foods and was able to give us backgrounds on all the dishes. Also left the tour feeling full and like I got my moneys worth. 10/10 was the perfect way to start our trip in Iceland!

So our tour guide Minty was fabulous. Very friendly had a sense of humor, was funny and taught us a lot about the Icelandic culture. Enjoyed all the food even the fermented shark… at first. It was intense. Overall this tour was awesome.

I have been on quite a few city food tours and this one has a lot of great Icelandic food. It may seem pricey, but it is actually a good deal as food is very expensive in Iceland and you go to 3 very nice restaurants for several dishes, the famous hot dog stand and ice cream for dessert. Our tour guide Tomas was great! I would highly recommend this tour to start off your trip.

This food tour takes you to some of the best restaurants in Reykjavik and even the famous hot dog stand. We got to taste traditional Iceland foods - including fermented shark. Tomas was a great tour guide and the tour ends with delicious ice cream and at the church so you can conveniently continue explore the city.
