This is the perfect way to begin your stay in Iceland. We learned so much about the history and culture of Reykjavik. The capital city is gorgeous and while we were lucky to have avoided any wind and rain, you should always be prepared for it. Our guide, Burger, was an excellent host. He was entertaining, knowledgeable, and felt like a friend. He really took the time to speak with each member of our group, offering up tips that made the rest of our trip better than we could have imagined. The food was unforgettable. We can confidently say we had the best lamb dish we’ve ever had on this tour. We circled back to a couple of the restaurants for more later in the week (with a discount provided for doing the tour)! Overall, this is an experience we cannot recommend enough. We’ve been on many food tours and this is definitely the best!

Our guide Burger was great! Gave great background on the food and suggestions for places to go for souvenirs and other things. Was a filling tour and thought it was worth it!

We had a fabulous time with Dagur who not only shared with us more about the food, history and culture in Iceland but also plenty of jokes as well. We had plenty of fun and it was more like a get together with a friend than a food tour guide. Highly recommended!

We had such an amazing experience doing our Icelandic food tour. Every place we travel we try to do a food tour and this one was exceptional. A big reason was that our tour guide Day (sorry if I spelled it wrong 😬) was very personable and informative. I would definitely recommend him as a guide to my close friends and family. Hope to come back to this beautiful country and I will definitely seek Day out for another food tour.

Had a fun food tour with Dagur and all the local Icelandic food we tried are freshly prepared and tasty. One of the best way to get to know more about Iceland, their people, culture and food. Thank you Dagur for the great experience.

This was a lovely food tour! Day was a fantastic tour guide. Our group had 4 tourists - everyone was really kind and the conversation was great. The food was delicious (I even dared to try shark). The price is really good as you do get a lot of food and information. Day was really great to talk with about the city and I'd recommend his tour to anyone - it was a highlight of the trip!!

We had a wonderful group food tour with Day! We had easy to talk with and was warm and inviting! Like being with an old friend. Being able to try all the Icelandic food hits in a few hours was worth it, and he had lots of tidbits to share along the way.

Dagur was an amazing guide and this was a highlight of our trip. The pastries and artic char were my favorites. The tour also included stops at the oldest hot dog stand (with lamb meat), soup, lager, a tiny bit of shark for the brave, and a wonderful ice cream desert. This was the perfect way to spend morning in the city!

Our tour with Day was a great way to be introduced to Iceland. He was nice and knowledgeable and set the tone for the entire trip! He answered all questions about the food but was also a great resource for ideas for the rest of the trip. Definetly reccomend a tour with him.
