Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre
The Conference center opened in spring 2011 and is a popular attraction place for Iceland’s concerts and cultural events. It also has a great restaurant, in-house catering and is a conference center with meeting facilities.
Hofdi House
This house is a historical place and a beautiful building! It’s where the famous meeting took place in 1986 between former US President Ronald Reagan and former USSR General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev.

Very good comprehensive overview of downtown Reykjavik. Toured the church and went up in the bell tower. Did an immersive volcano experience in the Harpe concert hall. Visited the beautiful Viking boat sculpture and had some delicious ice cream!

Great introduction to Reykjavik. We drove all around town with Thorir, who provided an excellent background information about Iceland and Reykjavik history, politics, religion, city life, things to see and do, shopping etc etc. Very comprehensive and interesting! Went to Aurora Borealis Museum and lava flow adventure in Harpa Coference Center. Thorir was a great guide--very knowledgeable, flexible and friendly. Would recommend this tour as a great way to start your visit to Reykjavik and Iceland!

Our driver/guide was Siggi and as many reviews note, he's excellent. His friendly and engaging approach, and deep knowledge of Iceland's history, architecture, economy, etc. made for an outstanding tour. He was also really accommodating with one of our party with limited mobility. Highly recommended!

This was a small group tour of a number of places in Reykjavik. The guide also drove the spacious van. We had a mobility scooter, and there were no problems getting it managed at the various stops. Guide was very friendly, patient, and quite knowledgeable about Icelandic history and architecture. There were 6 major sites on the plan, and we also learned a lot about the city between stops. Thorir, our guide, was quite flexible, and worked with us to achieve the best tour for us.

Siggi (our driver) was great. He’s lived his entire life in Reykjavik-even showed us the house where he was born-and so knew everything about the area. We made a few stops to actually explore a bit, and he made special efforts to accommodate one person in our group with mobility issues. That’s above and beyond what we expected. Really nice way to spend our first day in Iceland while waiting for our hotel rooms to be available.

We had the most insightful, entertaining, and thorough tour of Reykjavík with an awesome and very knowledgeable guide. We even had a side trip to the Presidential compound and could freely roam the grounds. No fences, gates, secret service or security agents. That would never happen in the USA. No wonder Reykjavík is one of the safest and happiest cities in the world! We were promised the best guide and we certainly got him. We highly recommend this tour. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Even thought our flight was delayed the driver was aware and waited for our group of 6 with no issue, we had a wonderful experience with the drive from KEF to downtown with an awesome informative tour which took us to all the great highlight spots, he even recommended a great restaurant near out ship to enjoy the local fare which was incredible. It is worth booking this vendor for a great experience in Iceland!!!

Siggy was an exceptional tour guide! If you do this tour in Reykjavik, requesting Siggy is a must. My parents are senior citizens and have some mobility issues and Siggy customized the tour so that they would still see all the sights without exhausting themselves. He was incredibly professional, kind and humorous and at the end of the day, he felt like family. We loved seeing all the city sights with Siggy's story telling and wished we had all day with him!

Our driver picked us up at the cruise port. He asked what we wanted to see and we told him this was our first trip to Reykjavik. He took us to the concert hall, it was very impressive architecture. He took us to other sites. He suggested Fly Iceland which is a "ride" where you feel like you are flying over Iceland as your chair tips and there is mist as you "fly" by waterfalls. (This was an additional cost.) He took us to the big Lutheran Church, Hallgrimskirkja. We asked him to take us to someplace where we could get lunch. He took us to Cafe Loki which is across from th church. We had a very good meal there. We had asked that he take us to the airport ( for an additional fee but well worth it). On the way to the airport, he told us about some of the sights we were seeing and pointed out the erupting volcano. This was a great way to pass time before our 5 o'clock flight after our cruise.
