Delight unique views from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700'000 liters of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. The Belvedere panoramic trail brings you to the viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Take an optional boat ride (summer only, additional costs) close to the falls. Enjoy an hour here to see an exhibition, admire panoramic views from the glass elevator, or walk to the viewpoints above and around the falls to thrill at their roar and power. The site also has a playground, shops, and restaurants. Perhaps opt for a boat ride (subject to availability and not included in price) to experience the crashing cascades close up.

While I was a little apprehensive about a 6 hour walking tour, the pace was great with lots of little stops along the way to discuss what we were seeing, so it wasn't 6 hours of vigorously walking. There were a couple of steep hills and places where we needed to keep pace to catch the tram or train, and someone with mobility issues might consider this when booking. The lake boat ride was amazing, and you could get some food and drinks while cruising along with spectacular views. We were gifted an amazing day weather wise which only added to this wonderful tour

4.00I really enjoyed the Rhine Falls experience. I am glad we did both the boats and platforms. Know there are alot of steps to get to the bottom platforms and boats. It is not Niagara Falls but it is still impressive. Our tour house Thomas was excellent and gave us many facts about Switzerland on the bus trips and even played some Swiss Folk music for us. I was a bit disappointed by Stein am Rhein. The town and it's Medieval buildings were great but going on a dreary Monday with most of the shops/restaurants closed and not enough time there even if we wanted. In addition the church and monastery were closed. Perhaps on a weekend day it would be better but I am sure much more crowded.

5.00I am told this is the largest waterfall in Europe. The water is crystal clear and raging over the falls. You can take a boat tour to the bottom of the waterfall like at Niagara Falls. A must see!!!

5.00I had a great time today with Thomas our guide and his colleague our driver, the whole experience was really well organised it was a little busy at the falls and not to mention very hot and Thomas's stories about the buildings at stein am was very informative I would highly recommend this trip

5.00Awesome tour. Loved the falls and the whole tour. Salva and Monika were great. Salva assisted us the whole time at the falls and took photos all along the way. Such a nice man, tour and bus driver.
