The Royal Gorge Route Railroad is Colorado's top train experience and America's most scenic railway. Join us with friends and family to journey through the winding Royal Gorge, along the Arkansas River, deep within Colorado's grandest canyon. Indulge in made-to-order entrees for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, from our fresh grill menu along with fully stocked bars featuring specialty drinks, beers, and wines from regions worldwide. Enjoy your drinks at your table or on an open-air car, where you can soak in the breathtaking scenery, and a closer connection to nature. Choose one of the following classes of service:
Vista Dome: Offers unparalleled views of the Royal Gorge from glass-topped dome cars.
Deluxe Class: Offers elegant seating and an adjoining table for absolute comfort, with expansive windows providing breathtaking views of Colorado’s Royal Gorge.
Coach Class: Features comfortable seating (no tables), with large windows to take in the spectacular views of the Royal Gorge.

Coach and Deluxe Dining Cars are wheelchair accessible. Vista Dome is not wheelchair accessible.
Infants less than 2 years old may sit on laps. Children 2 - 12 require a children's ticket. Note, some journeys only offer one type of ticket for all passengers 2 and older.
Must be able to climb 10 steps without assistance

5.00Fantastic experience, can't believe we never did it before. Can't wait to go again. We were in the Vista Dome, the scenery and the food was amazing.

3.00The train ride was ok. We had the vista dome car. We stayed in there for 1/2 the ride and walked out to the open car for the last 1/2 ride. Glad we done it once but that’s it. It’s over priced for what you get. I feel like it’s an $50 ride. Not $130. And the food/drinks are over priced also. We ordered 2 bloody Mary’s and 1 nacho for $65. Our server “Stephanie” was not the nicest person. The guy on the open car pointing out land marks and giving history bits was great. I think his name was Richard
Unique experience but overpriced at ever turn and every item.

3.00While it was a unique experience, it was overrated and overpriced for what you received. I would have like some type of narrative or story telling, and communication with guests. Also, I should not have anything block my view when I paid for a vista dome, especially in the upper part of the window. Good was ok, but it too was overpriced and didnt have enough wait staff. Glad I experienced it, but wouldn’t do it again.
