After meeting you at your Park City or Deer Valley Hotel we will proceed towards the Heber and Midway Valley. On the way you will see the famous Utah Film Studios home of Kevin Costner's "Yellowstone" and "ABC series "Blood and Oil". You will see the Jordanelle State Park and Reservoir with c chance to step out close and personal to the water for some amazing vistas of the back side of Deer Valley Ski Resort and the Wasatch Back. We will continue on to the Heber Valley Railroad where you will board the train to depart at 3:30pm for Deer Creek State Park and Reservoir 90 minute round trip excursion. After the train ride we will continue on to see the Famous Utah Midway Natural underground Spa and Crater where the water temperature is a constant 94F. It is fed by an underground spring 2 miles deep. From there we will continue on to the Midway Artesian Cheese and Kohler Dairy Farm where you can meet the cows and see where the milk is turned into local Cheese. A Free tasting is included.

5.00This experience is well worth the time and money. Our tour bus driver, Mark, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the area and had a great personality. The train ride showed us areas that we would have never seen.
Disaster not at all- Mark to the rescue!!

5.00Well Mark our fabulous guide was right on time. We were headed out of town to catch our train when the phone rang and Mark said this is my boss I better take it. Well someone missed their pickup so she insisted we turn around to get them. Mark assured us we would be ok. Needless when we arrived at the train depot the train was already on its way. Mark apologised and gave us the option to reschedule or stick with him for a better tour. The one couple that made us miss our train opted to reschedule. Mark took the rest of us on an amazing tour better than what we would have had on the train. Thank you Mark for making it such a wonderful and informative tour!!

1.00Train ride was not remarkable, Mountain View’s by the highway and have the ride was thru the city. The ride around to various sites in the town was not interesting at all. I would not recommend this activity to anyone.

2.00Unfortunately, I did not get Dave as my guide who has been mentioned in the positive reviews. The two stops I was really looking forward to didn't happen. The Swiss bakery (which was an added bonus when mentioned) closed almost 3 hours before our arrival; we didn't go to the Chocolate factory at all; and, the cheese store was closing when we arrived and had already pulled all samples. I was looking forward to filling my day with a well-rounded activity, but instead was greeted with disappointment after disappointment.

1.00This was not worth the time or money at all. We have enjoyed many tours and do like writing a negative review at all. But this was really just an uber to the railway with some random stops in between. There was nothing much to see from Park City to Heber Valley. As nice as our driver was, there was nothing more to share than what a local uber driver might mention about a new Park City Hospital and that Yellowstone filmed in the area for two seasons. But you’re not going to see that area as you only drive past a building that houses a film studio, and we couldn’t even figure out which building that was as we whizzed by. The railway ride is ok, better for families with young children. It is just a short ride thru some housing and along a reservoir until it reverses and goes back to station. The only real highlight is the fiddler, who played wonderfully. Back on the van, the stops on the return drive were the Heber “cheese tasting” which was nothing but a stop at a farm stand with chopped cheese in plastic dishes, it was not appealing in the slightest and there was no tour or presentation. And then the Crater - this was the only stop worth seeing and it took less than 10 minutes of the 4 hour afternoon. Finally, we went to a chocolate store that was closed for the day. In summary: if the railway appeals to you, drive or uber there and pay for a ticket to ride. If the crater appeals to you, drive or uber there and either just take a look inside or pay to take a swim. But you ought not pay for this tour, we were disappointed and frustrated to have spent the time and money.
This is a charming trip...

4.00This is a charming trip with beautiful views. The staff were excellent but there were some issues with power that affected our carriage and the concession carriage. I’m sure it was just a one-off though. There are historical characters who visit each carriages and play act/tell jokes, plus there is a guide in each carriage to provide relevant information about the areas you pass through. It is a trip worth taking but I suggest you bring your own snacks.
