Our all-day wine excursion with Rioja Like A Native was absolutely fantastic!! Robert, our guide, gave us just the right amount of information on the region’s history & wines. The private winery tours took us into the cellars, the production areas, the fields, and the tasting rooms. Everyone was so open & generous with their time & sharing their personal stories. Rebeca (co-owner of RLAN with Robert) prepared a delicious lunch for us & was our point-of-contact before arriving. The blind-tasting after lunch was great fun. If you’re going on a wine tour in Rioja, Rioja Like A Native is the only way to go. It’s worth every penny & we’d go again in a heartbeat!

It’s full day and might seem pricey but it’s the most enjoyable wine tour we’ve ever experienced. Robert and Rebecca are just the most knowledgeable and gracious hosts you could imagine. The two wineries were at the extremes. One hundreds of years old, family owned and small. The other is newish and high tech. Both gave great tours and fabulous wine with healthy pours. At the end there is wonderful surprise lunch. If you’re going to book a tour, this is the one. Thank you so much Rebecca and Robert!

This is one of the best wine tours we have ever done! We are not wine experts but we have done many wine tours in different countries. Right from my initial enquiry, Rebeca’s prompt communication, attention to details and willingness to attend to special requests – were all outstanding. Robert, our guide, spoke English perfectly and was informative and also kept us entertained with his humour. The cellar experiences were varied and well-organised. There are a couple of delightful surprises – which I won’t spoil for you. We did the full day tour; it is a “boutique style” small group tour. It costs more than a bus tour but you have a far better experience and it is totally worth it. Both Rebeca and Robert are charming hosts and their tour was a highlight of our trip to Spain. Thank you – Sue and Adam (Australia)

We really did feel like locals touring La Rioja wine region. Rebecca and Fito treated us to a great day of wine tasting, eating and visiting wonderful places in Riojas. We got to see and taste wines from the old to some of the most current wines making methods. We ended our tour at Rebecca’s private residence for more wine tasting and learned about the local wine industry. To end the trip we were gifted our own bottle of Rebecca’s family wine. We hope to come back soon. Salud!

Lovely day in Rioja with interesting wines. I was solo but joined a group of about 6 others. It's a full day tour, which was more interesting to me than a half-day tour. We went to incredibly different wineries in the first half of the day, so it was fun to see a traditional winery and a more modern one. Both were excellent. We then had lunch with Robert and Rebecca at their home, which was lovely. I think I would have liked to go to one more winery but we did a blind wine tasting in their home to finish it up. Both Rebecca and Robert are absolutely lovely and really know so much about the region!

This wine tour was so personal and fun. Get ready to start drinking early! The minivan picked us up at a nearby hotel in Logrono, the drives were all pretty short. We visited one winery with an older style and then one with a newer style. Both included a tasting of wine and snacks, and then we stopped at a small town for lunch. Our group was only 6 people, and it was a nice crew. They handled dietary preferences very well. Beautiful scenery everywhere, and take it seriously when they say the wine tours will be cool - those cellars are chilly! After lunch there is a final wine tasting experience with some surprises - I don't want to ruin it, but it's worthwhile. We had a beautiful day and enjoyed being with Fito, Rebecca and Robert, and they sent us pictures after the trip. This trip will have you out of the bigger wine towns, and in some small villages that are lovely.
