The Bentota National Holiday Resort Complex, constructed according to a design by architect Geoffrey Bawa in the 1970s, occupies the strip of land between the Galle Road and the Colombo-Galle-Matara railway track and is home to a range of luxury hotels,Bentota. 5.00Excellent river safari Our guide was brilliant at spotting the wildlife. We saw monitor lizards bats kingfishers eagles crocodiles fighting and fed the monkeys. Altogether a wonderful experience thank you!

5.00We had a fantastic time on the river with so much to see... Crocodiles, monkeys, snakes, monitor lizards, Kites, Eagles, Bats, Owls, Frogs. All organised really efficiently by our friendly guide Gayan who can’t do enough to help and is a fountain of knowledge for all things Sri Lanka. Highly recommended
