I think the road to Hana should be seen before you try driving it. You would miss so much if you were the driver. And having a knowledgeable guide makes the trip fantastic.

It was a long day (met the tour bus before 7:00 and returned to the cruise ship at 4:00) but so very worth it!! Take your motion sickness prevention meds if you’re at all prone to that. Our guide, Bryan, was AWESOME sharing history, culture & entertaining a full bus. Although it was an off-and-on rainy day, we had a terrific time. Lunch at Hana Farm was a wonderful meal. The road to Hana is all rainforest and beautiful, even in the rain. Sure glad I chose to see it on a tour with an experienced guide and didn’t try to drive it myself! Even driving myself, I’d have missed out on everything I learned due to Bryan’s expertise. Thanks Aloha Eco Adventures for an amazing day!!

Bryan was awesome! Loved every part of it and Bryan was such good energy. Just book it! He has so much passion and energy. Yes this is a pricey tour but it was worth it.

Lots of riding on a very curvy road. Our driver, Shelly, made the trip fun with LOTS of information about the history, flora, and fauna. Plenty of stops for bathroom breaks and time to get out and walk around. Overall, it was a GREAT day! An experience not to be missed.
