The black sands beach and time we spent at the waterfall were amazing. It was a pleasant experience, where Eric our guide walked through details of sites and history of Hana. The entire tour was quite enlightening and also allowed us time to absorb the natural beauty of Hana.

This road to Hāna tour was the highlight of our 7 days in Hawaii. The scenery was amazing and we had the best tour guide. Eric with Aloha Eco Adventures made this trip so fun, besides his knowledge about everything he was very personable and aware of each participants wants. The farm to table lunch was amazing, I even ate flower blossoms in the salad with an amazing dressing. Eric showed us some great swimming spots with waterfalls and he even led the way jumping off of them which encouraged bystanders and others in the tour with us dare to do the jump, it was way fun, I would recommend this trip.

Eric took us to Hana today. He was AWESOME. He’s super knowledgeable, super friendly and accommodating and we would all recommend him over and over again. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn all about Hana (and Hawaii in general). The Sprinter van was up to date and spacious. The snacks were plentiful and the pizza lunch was great. Best of all for is was jumping off the waterfall - and Eric lead the way. Ask for him and you will not be disappointed!

Great tour! Our guide and driver, Chad, was super friendly and knowledgeable. We were in a Sprinter van so the group stays small. Worth noting- this is not the tour for you if you get motion sickness!! Lots of winding turns and elevation changes. This van does not have restrooms aboard and the windy narrow road does not have plenty of spots to stop if you get sick. We stopped at several waterfalls, Black Sand Beach, Aunt Sandy’s for banana bread (none if it made it back we inhaled it all before we even got back in the can), and quite a few other spots. Lunch was incredible! We stopped at Hana Farms in Hana. The “farm to table” part in the tour name is legit. Incredible salads and wood fired pizzas. Cute farm and market. Love that this tour took us to shop and eat at local businesses versus packing lunches. We stopped at a chocolate maker in Hana as well. Delicious. Definitely recommend this tour if you want a relaxing full day tour but don’t want to do the driving yourself. I’d have missed so much scenery if I drove.

Eric was an amazing guide...and driver thankfully!! He took us through the entire tour and customized it to our groups wants and needs. The van was comfortable to spend the day in with reclining bucket seats for each person. He was VERY knowledgable about everything Hawaii. From history, to nature and ecology, and culture he shared all he knew. This was his first tour since the storms and you could hear in his voice the love he has for this island when seeing the devastation some areas experienced. The things we saw on this trip were breathtakingly beautiful and he was quick to point out the best viewing areas and photo ops. He even entertained us by doing the cliff jump at a waterfall! He was quick to be a photographer as well! We have so many beautiful photos and memories. The lunch was great at a beautiful outdoor restaurant tucked into the mountainside. I recommed this tour for anyone wanting to get the full Road to Hanna experience!! And ask for Eric!!

What a wonderful tour! We did the road to Hana tour with Shelly and had an absolutely lovely time. Shelly has a vast amount of knowledge of the road and the community and gave us so much local context along the way. We definitely appreciated this glimpse into the significance of the stops. She was an excellent guide and we would strongly recommend this tour.

We took the Road to Hana tour with Eric as part of our wedding celebration. After the things that I read and heard, I was expecting some discomfort or motion sickness from what the trip. However, even though the van has room for 13, I didn't seem to notice the twists and turns of the road. I would say booking a private tour is the way to go. With the help of an experienced guide, you can really tailor the trip to what you want to do. It was a once in a lifetime experience and if I had to do it again, I would do it the same way.

Eric was such an amazing tour guide on our Road to Hana! He is very knowledgeable and told us so many interesting things. The road is super curvy, but he maneuvered the bus easily. We saw so many beautiful sites, including the black sand beach. Bring your bathing suit if you want to swim or dive off a 25-30ft cliff into a waterfall! Plenty of restroom stops and we even stopped for some yummy banana bread. The lunch was SO delicious and in a perfect location!
