What a wonderful tour! We did the road to Hana tour with Shelly and had an absolutely lovely time. Shelly has a vast amount of knowledge of the road and the community and gave us so much local context along the way. We definitely appreciated this glimpse into the significance of the stops. She was an excellent guide and we would strongly recommend this tour.

We took the Road to Hana tour with Eric as part of our wedding celebration. After the things that I read and heard, I was expecting some discomfort or motion sickness from what the trip. However, even though the van has room for 13, I didn't seem to notice the twists and turns of the road. I would say booking a private tour is the way to go. With the help of an experienced guide, you can really tailor the trip to what you want to do. It was a once in a lifetime experience and if I had to do it again, I would do it the same way.

Eric was such an amazing tour guide on our Road to Hana! He is very knowledgeable and told us so many interesting things. The road is super curvy, but he maneuvered the bus easily. We saw so many beautiful sites, including the black sand beach. Bring your bathing suit if you want to swim or dive off a 25-30ft cliff into a waterfall! Plenty of restroom stops and we even stopped for some yummy banana bread. The lunch was SO delicious and in a perfect location!

Eric made sure everyone was comfortable to the point I didn’t get car sick the whole trip. He did a great job facilitating conditions where we felt we were taking a leisure amongst friends. He also went so far to clean the windows to ensure capturing beautiful photos on the way

From the time we were picked up for the Road to Hana tour until we were dropped off back at the hotel, the day was absolutely magical. The scenery was more beautiful than I could have imagined, the chosen stops couldn’t have been more perfect, and our tour guide Eric was wonderful. Eric was entertaining, knowledgeable, and did his best to make sure everyone had a great trip. I would highly recommend touring with Eric if you have the opportunity.

Trip was amazing. What was supposed to be an 9.5-10 hr trip turned into 12 hrs from pick up to drop off. Eric put your guy was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable. He allowed us to spend over an hr at Waiʻānapanapa State Park which gave us time to swim and enjoy the surroundings. Had an amazing farm to table lunch. And stopped for us to jump from the top of a waterfall. He also made several stops at various locations for us to purchase items. Make sure to stop at the Vegan ice cream truck it was DELICIOUS, best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had! Thank you Eric for being a great tour guide and amazing trip, FYI first time we visited Maui we didn’t get to experience what we did with Eric. On that tour it was mainly stop at the attractions for maybe 30 mins just to be able to take pictures

The experience was as described. It was great to have stops along the way to visit waterfalls and appreciate sites. We had the opportunity to swim or enjoy the water and short hike. The pickup at our lodging was on time. Snacks and water were nice. Our driver was well connected with local residents and encouraged our support of their business ventures. The farm to table lunch was delicious as food along the way: fruit and banana bread.

Eric did an AMAZING job! He is very knowledgeable with the land, culture and history of this beautiful state. Loved all the witty humor and laughs we all shared along our journey! The food provided was a bonus! Totally worth the $$$ to do this rather than drive it on your own (more safe). Our short shuttle with Val was also a great time! Keep up the good work and tell your dogs we say hi! Pat & Michelle
