5.00Excellent in every way. Pick-up at lodging on West Maui. Snacks and lunch along the way. Comfortable van. Knowledgeable and friendly driver who threw in a few extras. Absolutely fantastic views and experiences. If you are staying on West or South Maui, this is definitely the best way to see and appreciate the differences the East Side offers. You could drive it yourself - not recommended - but you wouldn’t see, experience, or learn as much. Lastly, support local Maui businesses. They and all the people are working hard to recover from the devastating Lahaina fire.

5.00We’ve done the road to Hana before, but we drove ourselves. My expectation is that we would stop at a few sites know a little bit more about the attractions. However, it was far from that in a good way! Shelley, our tour guide is a multi generational local. She had stories and knowledge that non-Hana locals wouldn’t have. She weaved family knowledge and ancient wisdom with tour guide facts creating a more robust experience full of gratitude, appreciation, and empathy. So grateful we did this tour because Shelly made it fun and easy. It was like having a cousin drive us around. So do yourself a favor, take the tour, and ask for Shelly.
