  It was a long day but worth it. We had rain the majority of the day, but still got to see The sights. The driver, Lisa was great. Kept us informed and entertained the entire trip.

  This full day tour is not to be missed! However, if you are prone to car sickness, this probably is not for you. It is a long windy road in a small shuttle bus. The scenery is gorgeous! There were many stops along the way with adequate time to explore. A sandwich lunch is included, and the chance to buy food along the way is also offered. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that are good to walk along muddy paths and stony beaches. I also suggest bringing a raincoat because you are in a rainforest at times. My tour guide, Clarissa, was very informative with Hawaiian history plus her own experiences growing up in Hawaii. I would recommend this tour to anyone anyone!

  Absolutely amazing. Lisa, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable with personal information with bits of humor. Entire bus got along so well and was a good fit for Lisa. The highlight was at the end seeing 38 large sea turtles on the beach.

  Long trip and hard ride in a van. Pace is too fast. The view is wonderful though. Would have been nice to have a print out of the named falls along the way.

  We had a lovely experience on the “Road to Hana” tour! The scenery along the route was absolutely beautiful, and our guide, Dell, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day enjoyable with great stories, cultural details, and interesting facts about Maui’s history and nature. The small, brand new commercial vehicle was perfect for this ten person trip and Dell is a great driver. One of us is a notorious sufferer of motion sickness, but with some anti-nausea meds, good airflow and great driving, no one suffered any illness at all. This is a real victory! We were a little surprised that the tour didn’t actually go all the way to Hana, as the name states, and we don't fault our driver. I did inquire privately and had a nice discussion about it, but was still disappointed when people as what we thought of Hana that we have to admit we didn't actually see it. Still, we saw many wonderful sights along the way, it would be helpful for future guests if the printed TripAdvisor description included where the commercial vehicles/this tour make stops. Overall, it was an epic, memorable, relaxing, scenic day and a nice way to experience some of Maui’s incredible landscapes without the stress of driving ourselves.

  We had THE BEST day. The scenery was AMAZING. Our tour guide, Dell, was top notch. He was so knowledgeable about the Hana district! And he was just a really great guy. Plenty of time at the stops. He was always checking in to make sure nobody was feeling ill from all the turns. Such a great day overall.

  I have to say this experience went above and beyond what we were hoping for. Originally booked on another tour that cancelled the night before, this group was able to fit us in and make for a seamless change. Their love for the island and the people and places that make it special is clear.

  Road to Hana is a great trip! Our tour guide, Dell, was absolutely awesome — professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He knew all the details, started the tour early to avoid traffic, never rushed us, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop. Dell also educated us on Hawaiian culture, traditions, and the importance of respecting nature. The whole trip was relaxing and fun. Even after the tour, he went above and beyond by sending us information about other tours and restaurant recommendations. If five stars is the maximum, I’d give him six!
