  Anthony was an outstanding and exceptional guide on the Maui Road To Hana tour!! In addition to driving us very safely on a curvy road to spectacular sights, Anthony is extremely knowledgable about Hawaiian history and culture, and enthusiastically shares his passion with you. Anthony is also caring and personable, as well as fun! The Road To Hana tour was the highlight of our trip, and Aloha Sunshine Tours should feel fortunate to have Anthony as its representative!!

  Great Tour on the road to Hana. Jason was an amazing tour guide, very informative and knowledgeable about the island of Maui. We were given plenty of rest room breaks, water and opportunity for yummy snacks. I would highly recommend this tour with Jason.

  Good evening, On Sunday I went on the road to Hana tour with my girlfriend and good friend, and unfortunately I have been left feeling very underwhelmed from the whole experience. From my understanding, the tour guide we had was not the original planned, and was a substitute. However during the tour, we got off the bus just 5 times (including lunch), and when we did we only got 10-15 minutes in each place, (on the itinerary it was a lot more places and all for at least 30 minutes), apart from the beach where we got 45 minute's. It felt like we were being rushed in every single location, and during the tour, we never stopped at any of the venders on the trip (apart from the farm), despite being told to bring cash so we could stop. During the tour, the guide didn't fill us with information and in order to get any, we had to constantly ask about anything for him to speak to us. The tour felt like a quick dash in and out drive and when I asked if we could stop to take a picture of the rainbow eucalyptus, as I had seen other buses pull over and stop, we just slowed down as we drove past it and kept going. We were also told after the beach we would stop at a waterfall and we would have time to jump in and swim, however we never stopped and we just kept driving last them all, so again I feel like it's something I've missed doing as the tour felt rushed and the guide wasn't 100% interested in giving us the best possible day. The guide kept pointing out different locations and venders leading up to the feeling of stopping and seeing, but went on to say we aren't going there today. On top of this, we ate lunch next to the toilets, instead of a nice spot which was a bit disappointing, to be eating next to bathroom that you could smell. From my understanding, there was other people on the bus upset and confused as to why we were not getting off the bus very often and why we were not stopping more often at venders and spots. For me, spending $440 on this trip for my girlfriend and I, we expected an awful lot more, and don't feel like I got anywhere close to the value of what I paid out of the experience. I was very dissapointed with what we did and the experience. If there is something that could be done in terms of a refund or even a partial refund I would be very much appreciated as I don't believe to have got the value for the money spent.   Great experience overall with excellent sites/views and a wonderful way to learn about the culture. We had Jason as our tour guide. He was fantastic. He gave us great insights on the local culture. The road is very curvy - one lane each way - take motion sickness medicine! Enjoy the waterfalls and the black sand beach as well.

  We were picked up by Dell at the condo we stayed. That was a great perk for a 6:00 am tour. Dell is personable and shared a base of good knowledge. His being experienced with the winding narrow road was obvious. At times we were crossing bridges only one car could be on. He was courteous and patient with other drivers who weren’t familiar with the right of way. We did get a full rain forest experience. The recommended rain jacket or poncho is important. The water temperature at the waterfall was 50 degrees so have something warm to wear after in the air conditioned van. The sandwich was delicious. We were eating it during a heavy downpour and there wasn’t a covered place to eat. So an umbrella would help. We didn’t have one so we got drenched. Again, having a towel to cover yourself in the air conditioned van is helpful. The tour is as described. The waterfalls and scenery are beautiful. The banana bread is truly delicious. I bought four loaves to take back to our family who were staying at the condo and everyone raved about them. We had original for those who can’t eat nuts and the macadamia nut one that were the favorite. The pineapple one was good too but not as good. It was amazing to see around 50 turtles on a beach. The great thing about the day was we didn’t have to navigate and make decisions about which stops to make. A stress free enjoyable nine hours on Maui

  Road to Hāna with the driver Dell was amazing. I felt super safe with him navigating the roads, and at each stop he made sure no one was left behind! Would definitely book this tour again, also want to note that the sub for lunch was amazing!

  It's a long day in a van but we made frequent rest stops and the places we saw offered incredible views and photo ops! Our driver did a great job navigating the tight turns and provided good commentary!
