We were picked up and had a great time on the tour. Augusto has great knowledge and stories of the attractions and sites as well a great English . He was very easy going and we didn’t feel like we were on a strict itinerary. Will be recommending to anyone who visits Rome.

They must request Robin!!! He was so knowledgeable and fun! We highly recommend the golf tour at night. We did the tour on our first night in Rome and got a lay of the land for the days to come.

Dino was great. Took us to all the special places we would not have known to go to or how to get there any other way!

So Luxurbe needs to fix a few things. They changed the meeting place but then sent out confirmation of the tour with the original meeting address. Needless to say that was very confusing. We were not the only ones confused, the night of our tour three other groups were mistakenly at the wrong meeting point as well. Once we realized the mistake we had to walk to the alternate meeting point another 15 minutes away. Also our tour started late. Luxurbe you need to do better! That said the tour with Paulo was very nice and we very much enjoyed seeing the beautiful Rome sights in the evening.

Lots of walking. Need to have golf carts with all forward facing seats. We saw everything backwards. Very scary in heavy traffic. Our guide, Vito, was amazing!

On Saturday afternoon, a Luxurbe employee contacted me by WhatsApp claiming that due to a family emergency with the driver, he would need to cancel our tour, or move the tour to Sunday. We re-arranged all of our plans that night to accommodate his request and he moved the tour to Sunday. That evening, i noted that i was also unable to contact LuxUrbe at their published phone number with Viator. I called Viator, and requested that they send a new Voucher reflecting the change. The new voucher indicated a meeting point of Via dei Condotti, 61 Roma Italia. Apparently, LuxUrbe published an incorrect meeting point with Viator. This meeting point was all over everything related to the tour. Even the review and comment form, I used later to complain and request a refund, listed that address. On our assigned tour day, we proceeded from dinner to the meeting point (about a 5 minute walk), and waited about 25 minutes past our tour time with at least 3 other groups that had been given the same wrong meeting point. Both my wife and I have difficulty walking. A golfcart happened by the meeting point and said that they had changed the meeting point to a square that was a 40 minute walk away. I was holding on a call for Viator. Viator (who had me wait 25 minutes at the meeting point for the tour operator to show because they could not reach LuxUrbe) said it was too late now, and they will not hold the tour for your group because the other people on the tour want to leave now. We had paid for a private tour. The Viator operator claimed that the maximum group size (15) meant that they could put 5 additional people on the private tour with us. Our group had 10 people in it. Viator had also tried to claim that the meeting point for our tour was incorrect and only tours with hotel pickup and drop off services met there. (There is no meeting point for pick up and drop off service. They pick you up at your hotel, and they drop you off. We did not have this service because our hotel was outside of the area in which this service was offered.) I told Viator that I wanted a refund. They put in the request. LuxUrbe responded a day later by saying that we were NO SHOW, and no refund would be issued because they had informed us of a change to the meeting point by email. While I argued that we had not been informed, I ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE MEETING POINT ON THE VOUCHER ISSUED THE DAY BEFORE WAS THE SAME PLACE WHERE WE WERE. LuxUrbe also claimed that they had made multiple attempts to contact us that night, which is completely false. I received nothing from them except for their impassioned plea (so they knew how to get a hold of me) that I agree to a Sunday tour, and their denial of my refund request. They closed my request with an offer to rebook. However on Monday morning we departed Rome for Tuscanny, so a refund is the only way to fix this. This morning, I noted that LuxUrbe had re-listed the ads on Viatore with the new correct meeting point, so someone somewhere realized they made an error. Neither LuxUrbe, nor Viator will do anything to refund the tour. I honestly thought this was some sort of communication problem between Viator and LuxUrbe, and we would get a refund. Now, I feel I have been cheated. I even contacted the employee who had wanted me to move my tour the day before. While he sounded somewhat conciliatory, he said he was not in the office, and could not help me.

Our tour guide Nico was incredible. He not only took us to all the great spots, but he had a story about everything pointed things out on the way. It was a great overall experience.

Not a tour, but a drive by. No commentary at all. We booked a golf cart, but we were sent in a tuk tuk. Iykyk! Totally not worth the money. The company sent a message to change the time, the said they didn't send it. This caused much disruption. I've tried to ask them about why we weren't in a golf cart but they won't respond. All round pretty 💩
