Forget the fatigue of walking all day and hop aboard a golf cart for an exciting ride through Rome. Drive around the city in comfort, seeing all the top attractions and visiting the Catacombs of Rome.

Important Note : Each vehicle accommodates up to 7 passengers, and tours operate with a maximum of 2 vehicles, allowing for a total of 14 participants. The vehicles travel in tandem, similar to connected train carriages, and all participants listen to the same guide via earpieces. Please note that, on occasion, guests booking together may need to be seated in separate vehicles.

Each golf cart has two rear-facing seats. To ensure fairness and comfort, seating is rotated every hour, so no couple remains in the rear seats for the entire duration of the tour.

This tour was full of surprises. Seeing the Catacombs was amazing. Riding along the Appian Way in a golf cart was quite an experience, bringing you back in time. Our Tour Guide Nick was outstanding, he was well versed in the history of the Catacombs, the construction of the Appian Way and everything along the way! He provided interesting insights and information for all 3 hours of our tour. Do not miss out on this tour of the early “Roman ingenuity”.

We took a golf cart tour of Appian way that also included a tour of St. Sebastian’s catacombs. Our guide was Feddy, like Freddy without the R. We had a marvelous time - Feddy is gifted! His ability to paint a story for us of the ancient times truly helped us grasp the information. He also took us to a nearly intact Circus (better than Circus Maximus) along the Appian way. After days of ~ 25,000 steps, moving about in the golf cart was a treat too! I highly recommend Wheel Tours and Feddy for a remarkable experience!

The last time we were in Rome, we went to the catacombs on the Appian way by walking, which was long and not particularly safe. To go with a guide in a golf cart who showed us many other sites was a treat.

We had a great 3 hour tour with Freddie. He spoke wonderful English and was easy to understand. He passionately shared with us the history of Rome and included many Christian references that were special to our group here for the 2025 Jubilee. After the tour he kindly offered to share with us a place for a nice sit down lunch, Osteria Della Suburra da Silvio, and directed us on best way to reach our destination via the Metro. It was a joy to share in this experience with someone who loves the city of Rome as much as he does! 10/10 would join again!

We had a great tour of the catacombs and Appian Way. Our golf cart driver/guide, Nicholas, is a true lover of history. He brought Ancient Rome to life with his detailed descriptions about the significance of the who, what and why of the places we visited on the tour. He was funny, engaging, and did a great job of making the tour a memorable, educational experience for everyone in our group. As a bonus, he took us to a few hidden gems that we likely would have missed by foot. I highly recommend this tour!

Great way to get to and see the Catacombs. Arvin was our guide and he was very kind and efficient. The price was fair compared to other tours like this one. I only wish we could have gone more on the old Roman road where there was not also car traffic.
