Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She had lots of extra details to make what we were observing come to life. She kept us moving and found shade as much as possible for the group. The line for people without a guide was incredibly long in the Sun. This tour was worth the money for sure!!

Fay was our favorite guide for her enthusiasm and love of the sites. She kept us engaged and excited with her. Different than 9 years ago with lots of updates but also very nice. Highly recommend for all the coverage.

We loved this tour. It was absolutely fascinating hearing about the Colosseum and the activities that went on there. Our tour guide. Faye was not only informative, but entertaining. Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about the history of the Colosseum.

Our Guide from City Walker's Tours, Raul, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. The tour was with a group of about 15 people and was very well organised. We strongly recommend Raul and City Walkers.

tour guide was very interested and educated in the material but was too verbose and didn't allow for personal reflection. overall, wasn't responsive to the audience who became disengaged - needed to be more interactive and talk less. part of his was likely his thick accent, went over 3 hrs, no humor, and started with palatine hill instead of colloseum.

We were met and issued our headphones promptly and process explained. Then our guide (Andreas?) introduced himself and we started our tour at the forum and palentine hill. Our guide was excellent, informative, amusing, taking his time to answer our questions thoroughly. It was a very hot day and he ensured we were in shade as much as possible, and gave us a 15 minute break midway which was appreciated. We moved on to the colloseum and again the information shared was excellent. Highly recommended!

We booked our Colosseum guided tour through Trip Advisor, but it is actually led by a company called City Walkers. About a week prior to the tour, City Walkers emailed me to say the tour time had changed to about 90 minutes earlier. I agreed to the new time. But the night before the scheduled tour, Trip Advisor sent me a reminder of the tour listing the original time and telling us to meet our City Walkers tour guide at the "old" meeting time. Since I have planned many tours for our family trip, I didn't remember that the time had changed. That's my fault, but Trip Advisor should have been informed that the time was changed and should not have sent me a reminder the night before with the incorrect time. We paid something like $300 for our family of five to have this guided tour. But we ended up missing it and then buying entrance tickets on our own (only about $46). I'm sure the guided tour would have been nice and informative, but it turned out fine just touring on our own. Trip Advisor and City Walkers failed to communicate with each other, so they contributed to the time confusion and to me, that's bad customer service. We should be given at least a partial refund.
