Great off the tourist beaten path experience in Prati neighborhood for more local Rome dining experience! Ask for Giodono as your guide; His charisma and knowledge of foods & area elevated the tour... from small bites of Italian cultivated cheeses, meats, and spreads at local cafe and family run delicatessen, to popular pizza, completed with traditional Italian pastas and generous serving of gelato, the tour covered a welcome variety of tastes. Come hungry and ready to drink prosecco and wine, and more wine. They were very generous with food and pours. We concluded looking toward the Vatican City, which made for a nice, needed after dinner walk. Plan on travel to Prati starting point, as it's over a mile out. Walking back to city center through Vatican lead us through lots great street life and landmarks.

We absolutely loved the Prati District food tour—one of the best we’ve experienced! Our guide, Mike, was truly awesome, bringing the tour to life with his expertise and warm personality. We savored wine, pizza, cured meats, and cheeses throughout, and the delicious gelato at the end was a perfect finale—though I got so caught up in the engaging conversations with fellow tour-goers that I forgot to tip Mike and left behind the pesto I’d bought. I sincerely apologize and hope the pesto offered some small consolation! Highly recommended!
