Excellent introduction to Italian cuisine. We were a family of four, two adult children and my husband. Our guide Vincenzo was informative and kind. It was a fun group and we all enjoyed ample wine and food. I would highly recommend this experience.

VIINCENZO aka Vince or Vinnie was the best host and guide for our tour. A wealth of knowledge about the food and pairings were stellar! Five stops and each one was unique with so much detail and information. From truffles to how sun dried tomato is made to wine pairing. I plan to try to make sun dried tomatos this year. For us, we had 2 celiacs in our group. The attention to detail was excellent. Reasonable alternatives. Thank you Vince! We are sure you will own your own restaurant one day. If you have any doubts about booking this tour...do not...it is GREAT!!

This tour was amazing! Possibly my favorite thing I did in Rome. It was my first food tour ever, and I enjoyed it so much that I have done food tours at other cities I've visited on my 5 week trip. Stephanie was an amazing tour guide and if you don't take a tour with her, you're missing out!

My mum and I couldn’t have wished for a better host Vincenzo or food tour. I almost didn’t book as I was kinda put off by the ‘unlimited tastings’ part - sounded as if they were trying a little hard BUT please do book. This is a little local company who are working hard to ensure the tour is fresh, fun and such good value. Although I’d been to Roma 6 times, I’d never been to Prati (except to walk through to the Vatican) and what a special, slice of Roma this place is. Proper local. Proper Roman. Fab!! We started in La Nicchia cafe which smells of garlic and all good things! Here we enjoyed several bottles of amazing Prosecco and anti pasta…Then onto a pizza place Boncis with 100 year old aged sour dough pizza base (oh my gawdddd!!) then more and more and more and… oh my! Do it! Book it pronto. GRAZIE MILLE VINCENZO

A real look around Rome’s top hospitality venues with cafes, pizza, restaurants, cured meats and gelato at the end of the tour. Our group’s favourite was Paciotti Salumeira for all the best hams and cheeses you cannot bring back home. Be careful ladies, I hear Tomasso is a huge flirt. I would like to thank Irene, Alessia and the Rome Food Tour company for organising this opportunity and cannot state enough, this is highly recommended.

An excellent food tour hosted by Michael. An Italian/American with a huge knowledge of Italian food and wine. A most enjoyable evening spent wandering the streets of a lesser known area of Rome off the tourist route. Highly recommended especially if Michael is your host!
