The tour starts at your hotel, if it is located in the city centre. The tour is private, so if you want to see something that's not included in the route we suggest, we can change the itinerary for you. After seeing the best highlights of the Eternal City, we drop you off back to your hotel. This is by far the most comfortable way to tour a city like Rome.

My family and I really enjoyed this Golf Cart Tour with Federico!! It was really nice to ride along and make stops to important sites with minimal walking. Federico was very knowledgeable, present-minded about our time, and a very wonderful individual overall! We are very thankful to him and Turtle Tour for this tour!! If you are able to, request Federico as your guide! We highly recommend it!!

My guide, Mimmo, took me to some of Rome’s most famous and historic sites. He was very knowledgeable about the city and how it operates. And he has a good sense of humor which helped make the fast-paced tour even more enjoyable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We took this tour our first evening in Rome and it was the best part of our time there. I would highly recommend this tour and most specifically the evening tour. The city is significantly less busy allowing more time at each location. I provided pictures some several of our stops. Andre was our driver and he was just great, arriving on schedule and very friendly. He provided great information throughout our time together. We were able to go see the Colosseum, Pantheon, Palazzo Navona, St Peter’s Square and the Trevi Fountain with time at each to take pictures and enjoy the view, along with many other sites along the way.

Riccardo was awesome. He customized our tour based on places we had not been to yet. Very knowledgeable about the history of Rome and stopped the cart in several place to let us take pictures. At the end of our tour he dropped us off at a great restaurant. We had asked him for recommendations.

Very enjoyable evening. I wanted to see Rome lit up at night and was definitely not disappointed! Vito, our guide, was awesome… very knowledgeable and accommodating. If you’re visiting Rome with kids, this is the best decision you’ll make. We did a private golf cart tour with Turtle Tours, and it was hands-down our favorite thing we did in Rome. The whole experience was so easy — from booking to the day of the tour, everything was seamless. The team made us feel completely comfortable and safe from the start (they even had car seats ready for our younger kids!). The guide was warm, fun, and super knowledgeable, tailoring everything to keep the kids interested while still making it fascinating for us adults. We saw so much more of Rome than we ever could’ve managed on foot — from the Colosseum and Villa Borghese to charming little piazzas we never would’ve found on our own. The ride itself was fun, breezy, and perfect for little legs that need a break from walking. Turtle Tours made exploring Rome feel like a true vacation for the whole family. I can’t recommend them enough!

Shima was an excellent tour guide. She asked us what we’d like to see besides the places listed. We told her and she took us to beautiful off the beaten path places to take great photos. She also was a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Rome. She was patient and we didn’t feel rushed. This was a highlight of our vacation in Rome.
