After landing at Fiumicino airport (Rome) be picked up by your English speaking driver who will carry your bags on and off board for an amazing overview of the city of Rome. Your driver will illustrate all of the interesting facts behind the Pantheon, the Colosseum (FROM THE OUTSIDE - PLEASE ADVISE US AT THE MOMENT OF THE BOOKING IF YOU WANT TO ENTER THE COLOSSEUM AND THEREFORE IF TICKETS ARE NEEDED), the Trevi Fountain and more! This tour allows maximum flexibility, as in the end you will decide together what to cover. 6-hours after meeting your driver at the airport your driver will take you straight to your accommodation.

What To Expect
Your English speaking driver will meet you straight from the arrival terminal at the airport. As you land and you walk through customs, all you need to do is to collect your bags and walk outside the baggage claim area passing through sliding doors, where you will see many drivers with signs in hand. Just look for your name and off you go. At this point your 6 hour adventure will start. You will drive towards the city of Rome. During the drive your English speaking driver will start to introduce you the historical background of the city and of course, he will provide you with suggestions on how to best visit and explore Rome and which sites to cover. Suggested would be after your long flight to go easy on it, by spending a little time at each site, then back on the van and off for more sight-seeing. Consider that your driver will bring the city to life with fantastic commentary on board and before you physically enter the sites, should you want to check them from closer. He will drive you from place to place so that the walking will be really minimal and because of our permits, we are able to park very close to the sites, this way you will surely have more time for sight-seeing. You will explore the city in full comfort and being a private service it would be only your party. The excursion will be tailored on your major interests. Colosseum (FROM THE OUTSIDE) - Circus Maximus - Road of the Temples - view of the Forum - Trefi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Of course more it time allows. At the end of the driving tour, your driver will lead you to your accommodation, hopefully leaving you with a great flavor of Rome!

5.00After a very long travel day , we were met by Angelo From Rome Private Excursions. He took our luggage, to a very clean car. He drove us into the city from the airport To our hotel. He was very chatty during the Drive, Informing us about the city of Rome And the highlights to visit. We were so pleased that we booked the Two hour Rome by Night tour with The company, and Angelo once again Was our guide. We were extremely pleased with this Company, and dealing with Luca ( the owner) was easy and he responds Very quickly.

5.00Where to start.. the 2 gentleman who picked us up from the airport (family of 11 from USA) were amazing!! From the moment they greeted us at the airport they were enthusiastic about their city, meeting us, and sharing all their knowledge with us!! We rode in 2 beautiful vans. We saw so much of Rome. They showed us the wall, old spa bathhouses, the top of the city view of Rome, we went to St. Peter’s square and luckily we saw the new pope giving a blessing/pray! That’s a once in a lifetime experience! They took us to a cute cafe for coffee. We stopped at a market square for lunch and shopping, they took us to see the Pantheon!! The two gentlemen knew so much history and facts about Rome. It was beyond amazing. We got to also see Trever’s fountain. I cannot express enough how much we appreciated our two tour guides being able to see the city of Rome in the comfort of these vans and was picked up from the airport and dropped off at our hotel when it was check in time. It was beyond my expectations and if we ever go back to Rome again, we will absolutely be booking with this tour company again. I highly recommend them and if I could give them more than five stars, I would. Absolutely the best service the best educational information of the city and the ease of being able to see all the highlights of the city or beyond amazing. 5.00Our 14 day trip was coordinated through Luca and Rome Private Excursions including airport pickup, Rome, Florence and parts of the Amalfi coast. Hitting a private service allows for so much local knowledge and avoiding crazy drivers! Each of our drivers including Big Angelo, Manny and so many others gave us the advantage of local history, wonderful selection of restaurants and tour guides for the Coliseum, Pompeii, Tivoli, Florence and Orvieto. We arrived with the passing of pope Francis with adjustments made with this historic occasion. I would highly recommend this service.

5.00My family of 10 were picked up at the Chivitivechia port and enjoyed a memorable 6hr tour of Rome. The 2 drivers were friendly, courteous, knowledgable and dropped us off for Free time and pictures in very congested areas . They allowed us to modify our plans with short stops and dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the tour. Definitely a "Great- 5 Star" tour choice. Kudos to Luca and staff. Bob M

He made us feel at home and also provided all the wonderful information on that we were looking for. We love the tour, the tour guide, and also off the path wonderful places in Rome. We loved our lunch in the flower market especially.
