Our guide, Lucy, was lovely. The tour included the Vatican museum, sisteen chapel and the basilica. We’ve taken these types of tours before and they were great. This one, not so much. The tour started at the museum but it would been better to end at the museum. The tour was rushed through the museum with little of interesting things covered or seen. Basically, the museum was just a walk through to get to the sisteen chapel- did not stop to enjoy the courtyard sculptures or the Egyptian artifacts, or the famous paintings. Felt that the room with maps and tapestries could have been skipped. We walked through two rooms filled with cases of clay and black pottery and the guide literally said just that, “this is clay and black pottery” and “here’s more clay and black pottery.”We went past a large arm remnant, which the guide said here’s a large arm. We were given no time to take pictures except in the maps and tapestries rooms. No sure why the rush but, even with the crowds, we were done the entire tour 20 minutes early. The Sisteen Chapel and the Bascilica were nice. My recommendation is don’t waste your money. We paid almost $400 for 2 persons for a tour that is not worth it.

Absolutely a phenomenal tour!! Our guide Rosalba (Roxy) was absolutely outstanding. Her knowledge of the history of the vatican, Popes, artists, architecture and everything Rome was unbelievable!! We enjoyed her as much as we did the tour. An incredible day!! Please book this tour, worth every penny!!!

Wow - trust the positive reviews. As someone who has travelled extensively, this small group tour is one of the best tours I've ever taken. Our guide, Manny, really tailored the tour specifically for us. He had a wealth of knowledge, and it all felt so authentic, not like what you'd get from the tour book, but unique details from someone who really knows and loves these spots. Manny timed everything perfectly - we got to see all of the highlights and then some, skipping lines and going down private routes wherever we could. It truly felt like a 5 star experience in a place that is never without many many tourists. The price was well worth the value, especially compared to other tours. I cannot recommend this tour, Liv Tours and Manny enough - thank you!
