5.00It was such a wonderful day. It was very smooth from the high speed train trip to Naples to getting us to the Pompeii ruins. The Tour guides were very knowledgeable and very helpful. We saw everything and then ended up having a magnificent lunch and wine tasting. It could not have been any better and there were nice people in our group. We all had a good time.

5.00Fantastic day tour Rome to Pompeii - guides all excellent and covered much of the amazing historical site. It’s a sobering experience knowing what happened there to people just living their lives one day and wiped out the next. The vastness of the site surprised us - it’s a big area with lots of incredibly preserved streets and buildings. It’s an arduous day though for anyone of age or with any mobility impediments (age, weight etc) so expect to do some working out by walking around if you go! Lunch at the winery was nice after - entree good, main a bit plain but fine and dessert tiny, but wines nice to taste. The hostess had an interesting approach to guest relations / she appeared to think a winning strategy was to be rude and quite offensive to guests - I think she was trying to be funny and clearly thought she was, but she missed the target badly. After some initial engagement and she evidently decided we were not worth working on and our table was thereafter neglected - not even offered a price list to see if we wanted to buy any of their products - so we naturally didn’t! To quote Vivian in Pretty Woman - big mistake! HUGE! We are good drinkers so an opportunity was lost! The last picture included shows the service level we got from her! The next table had her full attention though! 😂

5.00Luka was a great guide, managing us all seamlessly. Our local guide in Pompei, Ciara (maybe was her name??) was very knowledgeable and informative. A great way to hit the “highlights”in the vastness of Pompei followed by a delicious lunch and wine tasting. The high speed train from Rome to Naples was efficient! We would highly recommend this outing!! (And have a case of wine to prove it!!)

5.00Hardest part was finding initial guide at Termini train station- extreme left end of station. Once found, Lucas and further guides were fabulous. Train ride - great! Pompei - breathtaking. Wine tasting - so fun and a welcome relax and rest. Overall - great value and experience.
