Most day trips to Pompei from Rome take 12 or more hours and involve 6 to 8 hours sitting on a cramped bus.
This all-inclusive tour by high-speed train is the utmost in comfort, quality and convenience. Reach Naples in one hour, and from there in only 35 minutes by coach we arrive at Pompeii where your expert local guide will amaze you during a walking tour of this city devastated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79.
Experience a world frozen in time as you stroll along the cobblestone ancient roads where perfectly conserved ancient bakeries, shops, stalls, residences, public baths and even brothels remain! Take in the tragic plaster casts of the Pompeiians who were immortalized on that devastating day by pyroclastic flow and ash.
Upon conclusion of the guided tour you'll enjoy a tasting of four of the wines produced in the fertile volcanic soil of Mt. Vesuvius followed by an abundance of antipasti, a first course and dessert before returning to Naples for your return trip.

Wow. What a tour. Fabritzio met us at the station and was simply amazing throughout. Our guide Vince for our Pompei tour was simply excellent and the tour awesome. The trip to the winery simply added to what was already a wonderful day. Plenty of food and the wine which was excellent just kept on coming. Well done Fabritzio and Vince for making a party of 8 both awed and very happy

Our excursion to Pompeii was well worth the day and the money spent. From the start our tour guides were friendly and professional; we easily met Savina at Termini Train Station and she rode with us to Naples where we met Viktoria who guided our group of 13 people through Pompeii. Viktoria was very friendly and knowledgeable. Pompeii is a fascinating place and somewhere we’ve wanted to see for a long time. After the tour at Pompeii, we had a wine tasting and lunch at a local winery which capped off a great day. The food and wine were excellent and multiple pours of wine were offered. It was a day and trip that was greatly enjoyed and will be well remembered.

For the amount of Money paid over $200 per person I felt the tour was not really worth it. the Pompeii tour was not very impressive for me. It was too sterile of an environment that had been cleaned up way too much. Using actual video footage and AI, I felt could have provided more insight visually into the devastation and it's aftermath on both the city and inhabitants. Archeological findings of destruction and bodies should have been better preserved at the actual sites where it occured. This would have better demonstrated the intensity and devastation of the event. To visitors. What remained at the sites after the clean up was only an outer partial cleaned up shell of individual buildings damaged or destroyed and too sterile an environment to truly appreciate wat happened. After visiting a few sites the tour became repetitive with not too much left to see to appreciate the event. The Winery Wine tastings were fun and the lunch was good. But the Wine prices seemed overly inflated. Guide Lucas was very engaging and personable making the visit more enjoyable than it was for me otherwise.

This excursion is very well planned and executed. The meeting place at the Rome Termini was very easy to find. John Luca gave excellent instructions as we waited for the train, and then he shepherded us to our seats. No hassle or uncertainty. Once in Naples we were then quickly led to our bus and we were on our way to Pompeii. There Benedetto took over and gave us a very informative 2+ hour tour of the ruins. He was very good! He had lots of good insights into the history and lives of the people of Pompeii and kept us moving from one interesting place to another. He took time to explain things fully and answered all our questions. Once our visit there ended, we were off to the Bosch de Medici winery for lunch and wine tasting. The winery is a virtual oasis, beautiful gardens and vines and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy both before and after the lunch and tasting. Good food, good wine, so relaxing after all the walking through the ruins! And the people at the winery were so nice! Then back to the train for the ride back to Rome. Smooth, informative, and relaxing!

The high speed train ride is definitely the way to go. The tour is wonderful. Learning about the lives of the residents gives perspective to the event. The wine tasting lunch was more than imagined. The venue was beautiful and staff equal to the environment in kindness and service.

Fantastic experience all around. Laura met us at the meeting location and made sure everyone was accounted for and ready to go. It was a pleasant ride down and a very nice tour of Pompeii. Before heading back we loved the winery lunch (such a beautiful location and good wine-definitely worth the extra stop). Even with our two elementary school kids with us we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour/experience. We all felt welcome, cared for, and even made some new friends along the way.

The whole experience was perfect!! From Lukas picking us up in Rome to board the fast train to Naples to the handoff to Carla for the tour of Pompeii to the exquisite lunch served at the Bosco de' Medici Winery and then the fast train back to Rome. Carla was very thorough in her discussion and description of the city of Pompeii and the ruins that are remaining. She was happy to answer any questions and was always making sure that the group was all together. She didn't rush through the discriptions nor rush the people in the group. The tour was done on time and with time to spare to relax when we got to the winery. And the winery was beautiful! The grounds were impeccably kept, with roses and fruit trees and a beautiful bottlebrush tree and the wine and food were delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone that was interested in going to Pompeii. We were going to do it on our own but this decision was a wise one!!! We learned so much more and had a great lunch to boot!!
