What To Expect
Isola Tiberina
The meeting point of the Twilight Trastevere Food Tour is on "Isola Tiberina” or Tiber Island, in English. Your guide will meet you right in the center of the square by the San Bartolomeo church, next to a tall pointy monument.
Ponte Cestio
We will be walking together across the opposite bridge, called Ponte Cestio, to the other side of the river to enter the neighborhood of Trastevere.

We took this tour on the day we arrived in Rome, and we were lovingly introduced to the culture, the neighborhoods, and the foods of this beautiful city. Martina was a fabulous tour guide- knowledgeable, fun, and thoughtful! She took us to establishments that were rich in history, offered delicious cuisine, and are more local rather than “tourist traps”. We learned so much about the city and how to eat like a Roman. Even more, the tour was paced well, very informative, and a good time! We are so grateful we kicked off our Roman holiday with this tour!

5.00My friends and I (12 total) did this tour with Luca Murphy. He was great and the tour was great! He gave a little history at each of the 7 stops and then we tried some of the most delicious foods while walking around beautiful back roads we otherwise would not have ventured to. He kept it light and funny while 3.5 hours flew by! I highly recommend.

5.00Miri was our tour guide and she was very interactive and entertaining along the tour, making it very enjoyable for everyone. We had eight in our group, which was a perfect size for getting around and hearing well, we ate some delicious food and learned a lot about the local lifestyle. I would highly recommend this experience to other travelers!
