Both Routes -> We will walk together across the Ponte Cestio, crossing the river and arriving in the charming neighborhood of Trastevere.
Regular Route -> Skip the line at the most iconic Trattoria in Rome since 1935. Toast with DOC prosecco and savor typical Roman specialties (closed on Sundays).

5.00We had the finest tour of our 2 week Roman holiday with Toni. She was such an organized, very fun, and well-informed guide. She took the trouble to know the small group members even by our names. She relayed the history of Trastevere, the Jewish ghetto and as well, the foods that are beloved in Rome. She knows food very well, as an author of cookbook and as a chef in a prior life. I felt total immersion into the local food culture through her. Clearly, she is a favorite of the restaurateurs as well. Highly recommend Toni!

5.00We were in two minds about booking a food tour. I liked the idea of sampling different things and getting a guide's expertise on the area and history but I also wanted a relaxed dinner. In the end we decided to go for it and I am so glad we did! Our guide was Rish and he was excellent. A lovely storyteller, full of knowledge and humour. We loved the relaxed pace he provided on the tour. The food and drink was excellent and feeling safe in the hands of a local who knew their way about was brilliant. 5.00This tour was a highlight of Rome!!!! Luka was an excellent tour guide who provided a ton of historical context. All the food was delicious. The tour was 3.5 hours but flew by!!! I would do this everyone I came to Rome if I could.

5.00This is far more than a food tour. Rish creates an experience where strangers bond immediately, and the food, history, and locations come alive in a deeply human way. His knowledge of Roman cuisine and Trastevere’s stories is moving, not academic. As a solo traveler on my first trip to Rome, I felt instantly welcomed and connected. This was the highlight of my visit. If you’re coming alone—or want to truly feel Rome—this tour is an absolute must.
