Villa Borghese
Villa Borghese, an iconic retreat in Rome, spans 148 acres of lush gardens, serene lakes, and ancient trees, offering a peaceful haven amid the city's bustle. Originally built for the Borghese family in the 17th century, it now houses a spectacular art gallery showcasing works by Caravaggio, Bernini, and Raphael, among others. The villa's architecture exudes Baroque elegance, complemented by manicured lawns, charming fountains, and scenic viewpoints that overlook Rome's historic skyline. It's a cultural and natural gem, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in art, history, and tranquil landscapes in the heart of Italy's capital.
Piazza del Popolo
Piazza del Popolo, a majestic square at the northern edge of Rome's historic center, captivates visitors with its grandeur and historical significance. Framed by elegant neoclassical buildings and twin Baroque churches, the square boasts a central Egyptian obelisk from ancient times, a symbol of Rome's imperial past. Originally a bustling marketplace and later a venue for public events, Piazza del Popolo is now a hub for cultural gatherings and leisurely strolls.

Ivano was our guide...he was so informative and stopped for us to take photos This was our best experience in Rome :seeing all the attractions at night with no sore feet or any "getting lost" frustrations Highly recommended

Tour started on time. Our guide spoke clearly and had a wealth of knowledge. Answered all questions and was very professional/polite. He was Julius or Louis. We took a few different tours over our days here and I get our guides confused but all were excellent!

We had an informative day with Julius and managed to see all of the areas we missed during other tours. We got up close to a lot of Rome we missed out on with previous tours.

A perfect way to see the city, especially when you have a short time and want to see the highlights. You can easily get in and out of streets that a bus would have a hard time with. Our driver was very knowledgeable We highly recommend.

This was an amazing day after a day with back to back excursions. We needed the break from walking so this was perfect. Our tour guys took us everywhere we weren't able to get to. He was very knowledgeable and stopped to explain everything. Was a fantastic experience

Great tour that suited us perfectly. This tour was designed to fit in as much as possible. I notice similar tours will stop for 20 minutes at certain sight, these type of tours waste a lot of time stationary and therefore reduce the amount of things you could see. Having said that, our tour guide would always give us the opportunity to get out and take a couple of photos at the major sights. Tour guide Julius was very thorough with his commentary and happy to answer any questions. There was rarely a moment that he wasn't talking to us. Just be sure that you work out how to get to the pick up point, it is slightly out of out of the city center. Maybe give yourself a little extra time to find it.
