Changed the time of our tour the day before when we already paid for it and this is non refundable take note. We came late because of it. The person who met us was mad when we saw her. This is an expensive tour, if they make changes and we are late they should not take it personal and will be really mad lol. When we get inside we were not able to find the tour guide. No one tried to contact us inside. No tour happened to us

This tour was so disorganized and so disappointing. First, my start time was changed to 15:00 from 13:00, then we didn't get started until 15:30 because they had more people than tickets. To make matters worse the guide tried to race thru a 2 hour tour in 1 1/2 hours so we could be left out in St Peter's. The whisperers ear piece was poor and kept falling off. The guide kept saying "I am here" in order to keep everyone up with him which was impossible due to the crowds. It was so bad that I feel as if a refund was indicated. I would have been better off with a self guided tour.

Cancelled our tour 4 days before we were due to leave for Rome leaving us to scramble to find an alternative provider. A pathetic excuse was given and fortunately we hadn't paid for it. Avoid this operator at all costs.

Our tour was delayed by one hour. The tour company (Rome Your Way) informed me the day before about this issue via SMS/text, WhatsApp, and email (although it went to “Junk” mail). I responded to theWhatsApp and SMS/text message. I learned from another tourist that their tour of the same sites by the same company was cancelled. The tourist said the company cancelled their tour because they didn’t respond to the various messages. I can report there was no request by the tour company to respond to the messages. Therefore, it is a pity the other tourist were cancelled of their tour. That said, our tour was disappointing. We did NOT get to see St. Peter’s Basilica. We learned the Basilica closed at 1830 local time. We had just arrive at the Sistine Chapel when we were informed by our tour guide we could not go in. Shouldn’t the tour guide know the operational timings of each site? Shouldn’t the tour guide pay attention to the timeline to ensure the tourists who booked with their company get to see everything they paid for…and paid in advance. This is the reason for the mediocre rating, we only saw 2/3 of what we paid for; poor performance on the part of tour company, “Rome Your Way”.

Overall I had a very good time with this tour and at this beautiful place. The things you come across, the art you see and history you encounter is absolutely worth the investment. Out your was pretty smooth. We have a rough start when the radios were miscounted and we had to re account for everyone, this took a side step of the tour for about 10-15 minutes, but our guide did everything she good to stay on it and try to get things on track. The actual tour is quite good, she definitely knows her stuff and wasn’t afraid to say “I don’t know” when she truly didn’t, which is very commendable. It didn’t feel rushed or like she was just trying to push us through. She made sure everyone was ok and accounted for. The things you come across are absolutely beautiful and I do generally recommend the experience to anyone who cares for the art, history, architecture, etc. The only two cons would be as follows The start is a little rough but just give it time A lot of time is spent for example going over a paper copy of someone’s art work instead of the actual art itself (which you do eventually still see, but when 3/4ths of the visual is a paper copy it’s a little irritating given what you’re there for) there were actual tour guides giving 20-30 minute talks taking turns with others groups to cover descriptions of paper art works one by one which was a little disappointing. Everything else is pretty good, overall recommend and definitely worth skipping a 2-3 hour line!

It is very crowded with thousands of people! Felt like I was in a cattle drive! No personal space and no way to enjoy the art!

Really amazing experience. Valairia was our guide, she was clear, informative, controlled the group really well and was funny. The line skip was worth it as the volume of people is large but we were kept moving and the tour zipped past. The sistine chapel is special. We didn't get the Basilica as the pope has a regular wed gathering. We were issued tickets to get in later that day but had other plans. Avoid weds folks. Loved this and would happily do it again. Oh and we were 5 min late to the meeting point but one rep stayed behind and rushed us to the group, who had left. Above and beyond service

The tour is definitely worth it. It is especially worth it to skip the line which is quite long and the Vatican can be very crowded. The tour guide gave a lot of information that was very useful.

The tour was terrible. I actually want my money back. Are original time was changed. Then our tour guide was late. It was supposed to be an English tour, but the guides English was so broken you could barely understand. Once we got to the Vatican he rushed us through so we did not get to enjoy ANYTHING. I am so disappointed. What a waste of time and money. Do not take this tour.

Got cancelled two days before we left for Rome. No reason given, and very little time left to book through another Your Agent. And they did not find us another time to go.
