Best way to see all 3 attractions. Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St Peter’s Basilica. Inger, our guide was very knowledgeable!

Lines are absurd. Pay a little extra and maximise your time in Rome. The Vatican is a must see. However, if you don't waste your time in line you can see the "must see" items in Rome along with many other underrated experiences that you'll now have time for.

Tour was great and it was well worth the time and effort to find and take the tour. We had arrived early for a Viking Mediterranean cruise and they did not offer any tour the days we were there. I went on line and found the tours I wanted and booked via Viator. The actual tour was conducted by a local tour group and the person giving the tour was very knowledgeable with the history of Rome and the Vatican itself. She was an American living in Italy for more than 20 years and was an offical trained tour guide. Every question was answered and with her being an American hearing the information being presented was easy. This tour was the one my wife wanted to take the most and it did not disappoint! You could spend may days seeing everything in the museums but the 5 hours we spent was enough to see the highlights. Very grateful to have been able to take the tour.
