Our day begins with a delightful Andalusian breakfast at a charming roadside bar next to Zahara de la Sierra, an essential stop to energise ourselves for the adventures ahead. Following breakfast, we'll embark on an exploration of Zahara's stunning features. Not only will we visit the serene water reservoir, a haven of tranquility, but we'll also journey to various panoramic viewpoints for capturing breathtaking photographs. The highlight of our visit will be Zahara's Castle, an emblematic fortress offering an intriguing glimpse into the region's rich history and culture. This castle is not only a testament to the architectural prowess of the past but also provides an unparalleled view of the surrounding landscape, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking to fully experience the beauty of Zahara.
Setenil de las Bodegas
Our journey continues as we make our way to the enchanting Setenil de las Bodegas, renowned for its distinctive cave and mountain houses. Upon our arrival, we will treat ourselves to a delectable lunch featuring sensational food at a local restaurant. The culinary delights of Setenil are sure to tantalise our taste buds and provide a delightful break before our exploration of Ronda. After indulging in the flavors of Setenil, we'll embark on a leisurely walk through the town, discovering its unique charm and architectural wonders. The town's famous cave dwellings, seamlessly integrated into the rocks, create a fascinating landscape that tells a story of ancient dwellings meeting modern life.

5.00The day began with a short drive to a nice restaurant in Cadiz for an Andalusian traditional breakfast, the olive oil was really good! Anja was punctual, courteous and friendly. The next stop was in Zahara Castle with breathtaking views of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains. The climb was spectacular, be prepared to walk quite a bit, but it’s worth it! Then we proceeded to Setenil de las Bodegas - better than what we saw on pictures. She organized an awesome spot for lunch for the whole group… literally under the rock. From there we headed to Ronda and its famous bridge which was a sight to behold. Throughout the tour Anja shared with us the history of all the landmarks and provided additional insights to all our questions. Overall, this tour was a highlight of our stay in Andalusia! - Malika and Anthony

5.00We are a family of four. Anja was a wonderful and gracious guide to both our family and the other that joined. We absolutely loved each village as well as the breakfast and lunch. Anja timed everything well, was knowledgeable and kindly answered all of our questions. We highly recommend this tour!

5.00I've been meaning to write this review for months about our tour guide Anya. My mom and I went on the tour of Ronda and the other white Wall towns. Anya Is it great guide and really took care of the whole group. She primarily does small group tours, which makes it really easy to get the information that you want and to get in-n-out of the vehicle with a smaller number of people. It is a long day tour but totally worth it and great stops for breakfast and lunch. My mom is a pretty fit 80 year old and was able to make it to the top of the Zahara castle! The towns are beautiful and the castle is worth it with a cute little town attached.

5.00As far as I am concerned, Anja Adventures is THE only way to visit the White Villages. The villages we visited were Zahara de la Sierra with its prominent Moorish tower and stunning hilltop views, Setenil de las Bodegas and its unique construction built into the rocks and of course, Ronda and its dramatic cliff side location. The extras included a fabulous breakfast at very non touristy restaurant (wonderful), a hike up to see the Moorish tower (we did not see any other tour groups), lunch in Setenil de las Bodegas at a wonderful terrace restaurant (you pay for your lunch) and free time in Rhonda to wander at your leisure. Anja was knowledgeable and super fun. The whole experience was first rate. Anja really understands what tourists want and how to make the entire trip enjoyable as well as educational. I cannot recommend Anja Adventure enough. Thanks again Anja!! Deborah

5.00If you only go on one trip, then choose this one. We had a wonderful tour of 3 beautiful places with Anja who is friendly, knowledgeable, very organised and professional but best of all obviously enjoys showing people the beauty of the area. Moreover she also created a lovely atmosphere for all of us in the group to feel comfortable. We would give 10stars if possible!
