A guaranteed breathtaking and unforgettable experience! Our guides will meet you on time at the entrance to the northern castle tower on Drottning Christinas väg 1A in Uppsala. We walk up to the dome via the beautiful staircase. In the tower room you can admire the meter thick castle walls and the impressive 18th century heavy beam trusses.

Here you will find the personal equipment that ensure you are secured throughout the trip on the roof, and get a safety brief from your guide. After testing the test track indoors, it is time to go out on the roof above Uppsala Castle. During the walk you will see Uppsala all around, all the way to Old Uppsala Mounds where the vikings are buried.

Excellent tour led by a lovely woman (sorry I can’t remember her name) who was very encouraging and understanding about my fear of heights! The tour was really interesting and the walk along the castle roof was brilliant. We saw some great views and felt safe the whole time. Thank you!

I took part in the rooftop tour which was a very unique and exciting experience! Great service, online booking was very easy and our guide was a really nice guy who made sure everybody was safe and felt comfortable during the tour. I actually have a quite intense fear of heights but I wanted to extend my boundaries...in the beginning the height without much handrail was very scary but I got quite used to the situation over time and enjoyed the walk :) You have time to accommodate in the beginning while sitting on the roof and listening to the guide. Do not hesitate to try this tour!

Very fun experience and fun way to visit a castle, much thanks to the super nice guide Levina who told us about the historical and also about the newer times at the castle and in Uppsala. In addition, she supported everyone in the group and made sure everyone felt safe. Highly recommend!

It was sooo amazing! Our guide Jonathan was fantastic. He was funny, explained everything and made the experience comfortable as possible. We were lucky with the weather sind the view was clear. Next time when we war around we will definitely come back! Thanks for this amazing last day of our weekend trip.

A lovely experience where our guide Hanna calmly and safely took us over the roof where we could watch the amazing view while we got to take part in historical curiosities about Uppsala. Our company are not super adventurers and you do not have to be to appreciate this.
With Uppsala below your feet why not experience Lucia celebrations watching Lucia on the castle roof

Anyone who does not suffer from vertigo should definitely try this experience. I didn't dare but our daughter overcame her fear and volunteered as a brilliant Lucia there in 2018

We were four friends who met a great guide who took us up to the roof. Scary yet completely safe! Amazing views and fun to get some history about the castle and Uppsala. It actually feels affordable and long enough. Afterwards we had coffee and cinnamon bun. They were cute to offer bubbles too it was a proposal on the roof :) Can really recommend it to both tourists and “Locals”.

Many steps up the north tower and out on the roof. A fantastic view and knowledgeable guide who tells you much of what has happened below the castle through the ages.
