  For those of you wanting to go on a trip to Rotorua of your own liking, this is the best option. They drop you at the place picked up by you and the rest is history. I had a great time Te Puia & The Polynesian Spa. Our tour guide Cameron was very friendly and informative!

  We knew we would have a very wet couple of days on our trip and decided Rotorua. Our guide had a good balance of letting us relax and also sharing information about the areas. We liked that we could pick and choose which experiences to have. We went with Te Puia and the Secret Spot Hot Tubs. So we were rained on but got to see Kiwis, and boiling mud and geysers and Māori performance (they have a great cafe, we didn’t bother with buffet) and then went for a relaxing private soak at the Secret Spot hot Tubs where you can order drinks then shower and dry off for a drive home.

  Selected the Waiotapu and Te Puia options for this tour. It’s a long journey to Rotorua and there were sufficient stops along the way. The driver /guide Cam was wonderful. His commentary and helpful tips along the way helped to make the time fly by. The Van was comfortable enough and there is wifi and USB charging outlets (iPhone users make sure you bring USB cords) Waiotapu was awesome offering several routes where you can see all the geothermal sites. Te Puia was also good, offering an interesting guided tour. We were also lucky enough to see a real Kiwi. We made a few Other stops including a mud pool. Overall a great experience.

  We visited “all” of NZ’s most amazing sites in one day. We felt informed of their importance but most importantly our guide added “personality” to our experiences. He greatly added to the fun !!!

  Simon was such a great guide! He was patient and was very comfortable with all info and the roads! He asked everyone questions about themselves and got us to all our activities early. Some things to note on the activities: the geothermal pools whatever they're called, is a walk through a national park basically, I did not realize I had signed up for a walk lol. Simon was right - the colors were amazing! Simon was also flexible for us to switch up our activities day-of! We went on a Wednesday. And then the redwoods weren't really that great, it's like a ropes course where you are walking high up in the air, but we had 90 minutes at this stop and I was done in probably 25 minutes.
