What To Expect
This is so much more than epic ziplines! You'll fly on six ziplines of different lengths - the longest is a 400m tandem zipline, where you can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. Around you is a unique forest with 1,000-year-old trees, lush ferns, and plants and animals found nowhere else in the world. Soak up big New Zealand scenery from massive suspended swing bridges, up a spiral staircase, across a one-of-a-kind floating staircase, and along a volcanic walkway 50 m above the valley - there’s nothing else like it. Stay in the treetops on platforms set around giant trunks, spotting rare native birds. The forest is exclusive to Canopy Tours, so your small group is fully immersed and looked after by our legendary superhero guides. 5.00We had a fantastic time at Canopy Tours! Ange and Jake were incredible guides — patient, fun, and super informative. They kept us engaged the whole tour and made the experience feel relaxed, safe, and full of laughs. The zip lines were awesome, with stunning forest views and that amazing fresh-air feeling you only get up in the canopy. Overall, an unforgettable experience and highly recommended!

5.00As a nervous zipliner with a thrill-seeking fiancé, I knew this was going to be a challenge mentally for me. If you are reading this review and have some fears too, I encourage you to say "Yes!" The team is so supportive, no one is judged, and the views when you keep your eyes (!) open are stunning. Professional, caring, supportive, fun, exhilarating, and informative. It is the best activity I have done in Rotorua. I would do it again and master the final abseil! Thank you, Rotorua Canopy Tours!

5.00Enjoyed the zip lines adventure with Mitch, Dillon and Antika. ( sorry guys if I didn’t get your names correctly) It was exhilarating and fun but one just need to get use to the initial feeling of hanging at high altitudes. The trio also educated us on the flora and fauna which were natives to NZ. Will definitely recommend this to whoever is coming to Rotorua :)

5.00Love it. The bush is very cool and has lots of cute birds because the tour guides set traps for the rats. The zipline if lots of fun and has adrenaline pumping. I felt safe all of the time. The staff were nice to me.

5.00A truly amazing experience from start to finish. Quality safety gear that is in top shape is provided, and additional layers are also provided for colder weather. Guides were very professional and engaging with all the guests, more like a family adventure rather than tour with strangers. Awesome information between zip lines about forrest conservation and even hand feeding of birds in the wild. Highly recommend this experience for individuals and families. The ultimate tour experience is the way to go, what beautiful sights and experience.
