What To Expect
This is so much more than epic ziplines! You'll fly on six ziplines of different lengths - the longest is a 400m tandem zipline, where you can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. Around you is a unique forest with 1,000-year-old trees, lush ferns, and plants and animals found nowhere else in the world. Soak up big New Zealand scenery from massive suspended swing bridges, up a spiral staircase, across a one-of-a-kind floating staircase, and along a volcanic walkway 50 m above the valley - there’s nothing else like it. Stay in the treetops on platforms set around giant trunks, spotting rare native birds. The forest is exclusive to Canopy Tours, so your small group is fully immersed and looked after by our legendary superhero guides. They’ll keep you safe, keep it fun, and capture your free photos to email after the tour. Rotorua’s most thrilling and awarded zipline experience - longer, higher, and deeper into the wild. 5.00We had a great time on the Ultimate Canopy Tour with Emma and Dylan. They were both professional, knowledgeable, and well trained. They were attentive to each person and their personal needs. Our family, 2 adults and 2 teenages, had a great time during this 2.5 hour experience. We felt safe, as our equipment was checked before every obstacle and we were always clipped in for safety. There were 10 people but the atmosphere remained pleasant and allowed fun for all. We felt the admission fee was good for the value.

5.00Awesome time, totally recommend. Matt E & Alex the guides were fun, friendly, professional and Matt's conservation knowledge exceptional. I am not a fan of heights and the team made me feel comfortable and safe. Would easily do this again !! 5 STARS !!

5.00Had an absolute blast on the tree canopy zipline today! The guides were not only helpful but genuinely engaging, which made all the difference. I was pretty nervous about the heights, but they made the whole experience feel easy, safe, and so much fun. On top of the thrill, we also learned a lot about New Zealand’s native trees. Highly recommend for anyone looking for adventure with a touch of nature—even if you’re a little scared of heights!

5.00We did the ultimate tour on 11/04/26 and had the most fantastic time. Our wonderful tour guides, Sam and Reuben, were friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining from start to finish. Sam was an incredible at introducing the tour and getting us off to a grand start with the group in the van transfer and both guides were friendly and easy going throughout the tour. We felt completely safe the whole time, Sam and Reuben were very clear and thorough when explaining and working the harness and zipwire mechanisms. The forest is absolutely stunning and it was fantastic to learn about and actually see the difference this company makes to the conservation of the area. We saw wild stick insects in some of the trees and fed some birds as well. We also got a mid way break for some water and pictures taken on the tour were sent to us as part of the package which are fantastic to have! Anyone feeling a little nervous, absolutely don't be, this is a very secure, easy and fun experience. Thanks so much for such a great experience!

5.00Wow! Don’t think twice! Just book the ultimate experience right now. It’s worth every dollar and I wish it lasted longer! Or better yet, that we had time to go again! This was my first Zipline experience and my husband is not a fan of heights…and we both absolutely loved this activity! Our team was awesome. They kept us safe and feeling fully capable. We grew quite close to our group and it was really cool to see everyone overcoming a sense of fear or worry. You can do this! It was epic!

5.00The Ultimate Zip-line was fantastic, exhilarating FUN !! Our guides Mat and Lochie were full of light-hearted, encouraging banter while also ensuring all safety measures. They are a credit to their Company. The course was amazing! Hubby & I are reasonably fit, in our late fifties, and traversed the course without a problem. The Ultimate Zip-line Course - ADULTS AT PLAY, having the time of our lives !!
