Your cruise shuttle to Bruges provides a return shuttle service from your cruise ship to Bruges and back at regular intervals (max. waiting time 30 min.), so no delay in getting to Bruges and back from your cruise ship.

Shuttles leave Zeebrugge between 8.30AM-12PM (noon), and return from Bruges in the afternoon. The schedule in the afternoon depends on the departure time of your cruise ship. First bus back: 4 hours prior to final embarkment/ last bus back: 1 hour prior to final embarkment. Shuttles every 30 minutes.

Good transfer but some chaos

I definitely thought that the shuttle service ran every half hour most of the day, which it did not. First return bus was at 3:30pm, and we were done way before that. Finding and getting on the bus was easy, but return organization was chaotic and no priority given to Viator customers (as was done on the way to Bruges).

I did receive a confusing confirmation email saying 'pickup point not selected' and asking that I logged in for the purpose (when, of course, there was no such choice to be made!), but contacting the operator brought a prompt and helpful response including links to maps of the pickup and dropoff points, which, in the event, proved easy to find. It was a short and pleasant walk from the dropoff point into the old town although, surprisingly, it was not well signed, and a decent map or navigation app is advisable. (There is a tourist information office in the nearby railway station.) The service provided on the day was friendly and efficient - and a better option, we thought, than the shuttle (not free!) offered by our MSC cruise ship to make the journey by train from Blankenberge railway station.

Whole process was extremely convenient- would definitely do again. Picked up right outside the cruise terminal and regular buses back to the terminal after Brugge - well worth it for the ease and convenience. There is a short walk into Brugge but only takes 10-15 minutes
