Very great and friendly ride with the electrically powered water taxi. Drinks were provided . We would repeat that.

Terrific little trip round the canals of Hoorn. Charming boat captain who ( just for us) spoke in English describing the fascinating history of Hoorn. Trip takes about an hour and we booked ahead. Boat was full so probably best to do this. Lovely way to see the town and if you are staying a few days good to go early in your stay as you will enjoy Hoorn much more after this .

Just enjoy the ride. It was a wonderful tour. There was a lot told about the city and it was very cozy, with drinks, tea and coffee on board. Highly recommended.

Wonderful tour. Hoorn is a beautiful place. The boat captain, Marcel, was great and very knowledgeable. The young lady who runs the office if super friendly and very efficient. Unlike the downtown Amsterdam tours, this tour is great value for money. On a nice day, this is a little taste of heaven. After the tour, do go and try the burgers at Cafe 't Schippershuis.

A truly worthwhile 1-hour trip through the canals and waterways of Hoorn. The boatman gave explanations about Hoorn and there were also free cold drinks.

What a good idea to take a tour of about 1 hour through the canals of Hoorn. Due to the rain we asked if it could be a little later as it would be dry. That was no problem and they had already thought of it themselves. The skipper of the electric boat was a super friendly man who was good at talking. It was busy in the center because of the fair, but that didn't spoil the fun. Yes, we enjoyed it and it was definitely worth seeing Hoorn in a different way!

That was fun today. Horn is so beautiful and we have walked in the harbor and through the city many times but we have never been on the water. And today we took a boat trip with a tough captain. Very nice with a cup of coffee we see everything pass us by. Also very much enjoyed the necessary explanation it was really worth it!

This water taxi tour was one of the highlights of our visit to the Netherlands. Our guide shared information about the buildings and history. He even provided insights into why the buildings had big hooks (to lower the cheese), the underwater parking garage and the role Hoorn played in the 80 years war with Spain. Getting to go under some low bridges was fun, too. The pace was just slow enough to hear all the stories but also fast enough to not get bored. The tour included coffee, tea, wine and beer which was a nice touch. Being able to join the tour at any of its stops saved us some walking at the end of a long day. It was necessary to hail the taxi driver to let him know we wanted to join the tour. This tour was very good value for the cost.
