5.00We had an amazing day on the Arkansas river through the Royal Gorge. Our raft guide Chip had a great command of the raft ensuring we had a safe but fun and exciting experience. We plan on going next June when the river is at its peak.

5.00It is mid-Aug. and the Royal Gorge/ Arkansas River was still running at 850+-cfs...which is great. Steve was our experienced guide, with two trainees in tow. The pre-trip safety overview was good, but Steve needs to slow his speech down. The equipment was in great shape. Class 3-4 rapids throughout thetrip made for a fun and wet ride...splash jackets, life jacket and helmet were great. Friendly banter and nice sightseeing banter added to the trip. Vans need up grading and a portable step would be nice. Our operator was Lost Paddle on the main drag through town...free and ample parking across the street at Safeway. We would do it again.
