My husband and I came to CO for our honeymoon, and we wanted to go whitewater rafting since he had never been. I am so glad that this is the place that we picked! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about this area. We both really enjoyed Brice as our guide! He was very knowledgeable of the area and the water where we felt very safe but still had a good time. Highly recommend this company!

I was very scared to go due to the chance of raft tipping and I do not know how to swim. We did the moderate tour. I did this for my husband, he wanted to go. We had a blast and our guide Kurt was great. I would recommend to go.

What a great experience we had with Performance Tours Whitewater Rafting. We took the half day Royal Gorge rafting trip in late August, and had an amazing time. Even with the water being lower than in the spring, our trip was full of adventurous rapids and amazing scenery. Our guide, Mike, was knowledgeable, fun and talkative as well, which we enjoyed. At one point we got stuck on a rock and he did a great job getting us back into the water again. There were 10 rafters that day and they split us up into 3 boats so we ended up being the only two in the boat besides Mike, which was awesome. These guys take safety seriously too. Between the safety talk we had on the bus and the way they made sure our life jackets and helmets fit nice and snug, we felt like they were serious about making sure the trip was fun, but safe. We saw another company rafting along the river, and two of their guides weren't even wearing their helmets. With all of the companies we had to choose from, I'm glad we chose Performance Tours. We will definitely be booking with them again when we return to Colorado. The Royal Gorge half day trip was beautiful too. Being in the water with the canyon walls towering above us was spectacular. Highly recommend Performance Tours!

We had an amazing experience whitewater rafting with Performance Tours! We went in mid August, and the water was a great temperature! Our guide, James, was very experienced, pleasant, and knowledgeable! My husband and I have some great memories from our trip!! Their views were incredible, and we even saw some Big Horn Sheep! They took us all on a bus down to the spot we entered the river. There were about two miles of calm water before arriving to the gorge which gave us time to learn the guide’s paddle commands and get comfortable!! Would highly recommend!

I was unable to go at the last minute due to injury and we appreciated their flexibility in upgrading my family to the more challenging Royal Gorge trip. Their guide, James, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area including it's geological development. Not only was he fun to be with and encouraging; he was an excellent guide on the water, giving clear instructions and making sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Rafting the Royal Gorge was a highlight of my family's visit to Colorado and we would highly recommend Performance Tours and our guide James for a fantastic rafting experience.

First time rafting for our family and it was a blast! We had Bryce as a guide and he was awesome! He kept it fun for all of us and taught us how to ride a wave in a raft! Would highly recommend the whole crew! Plus we finally got to see some mountain goats!

Kurt was an amazing tour guide! We were first timers and nervous, but felt relieved and relaxed having him guide us. This was a perfect tour with our family of 4 ranging from 9 years to 35 years. I HIGHLY recommend you book this tour with THIS company! They are a small business and you can tell they love their jobs!!! THANK YOU!!!
