Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.
St. George's Chapel
Visit St George's Chapel, where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a ceremony broadcast to millions around the world. Construction on this beautiful chapel began in 1475 under the reign of Edward IV, and today it is the resting place of 10 former monarchs including the infamous Henry VIII. Essentially no information given by your operator. There was a young chap who sat in the front of the motor coach who watched videos on his computer. I’d expect he would have at least delivered some information about the castle or the neighboring village on the ride in. Otherwise, the coach was air conditioned and timely. The check in person at Evan Evans was very friendly and helpful and the waiting area was comfortable including toilets and a water cooler .

We were not told of closing times of the attractions therefore resulting in my group to miss out on the Chapel. The tour guide SHOULD have told us of the times and which attractions he recommends to start first. I felt our guide was inexperienced and only handed us the wristbands and said "ok you guys are free to go". We only had 2 hours to tour Windows Castle and the Chapel. Once we arrived at 2 30 and by the time we got to the grounds we had very minimal time to tour the attractions. Would not recommend this experience given the prices we payed after our dollar conversion

The castle was beautiful. I wish we would have been told when booking that St George’s Chapel was closed. I don't know if it's closed every Sunday but that's the day we went and it was closed.

Coach bus was very nice but don't expect anything other then entrance tickets, audio guide and a ride. I thought there was going to be comments by the guide on the ride but there was not.

Very convenient and an expedited way to see Windsor from central London. Would have like an additional 45 min in the tour as it took 30 min or so to get through security and collect audio device- felt a bit rushed and no real time to shop or grab a quick bite to eat. Bus was efficient and nice

I was pretty disappointed with service. I have travelled with Viator for years and a few days ago accidentally booked and paid for this trip using the wrong date. Within 10 minutes I messaged and asked to change the date. They did not do this despite my history with them and the fact that they didn’t need to refund but just alter the date. Won’t use Viator again not recommend them as I have done for years. No loyalty on their part sadly.

It is a full-day excursion. The company only offers transportation, everything in English, also entry to the castle, they leave you inside and go away. Inside the castle, they provide you with an audio guide that they have there in the language of your choice (the tourism company does not give it to you). The time is short to tour the Chapel and the rooms. We could only visit the Chapel, which is beautiful. I would do it all day with a provider who speaks my language from the moment I arrive.

The tour to Windsor Castle with Evan Evan’s Tour company was very dissapointing. We have had very good results using Viator in the past but not this time. Our tour guide has very little to say and when he spoke we couldn’t hear him unless we were right beside him. He didn’t add any value to our experience and we felt rushed. We had difficulty following him to the entrance to the castle entrance because of the crowds and missed some of his instructions as a result. The allotted time to tour the castle was not enough and we felt that he was rushing to get back to London which was about 30 minutes less that the tour was advertised to be. Friends of ours booked the same tour through Viator and their experience was much different and with another tour company.they were given more time at the castle and their guide gave them interesting information on the ride from London to Windsor.
