Our distillery, Bodegas Papiamento, is committed to sustainability with a farm-to-table concept, growing our own sugar cane and herbs. Our rums, aged in oak and Jerez barrels, boast a smooth, sweet finish that pairs perfectly with locally crafted dark chocolates. Our award-winning rums have received international recognition, including Gold medals at the San Francisco and New York International Spirits Competitions.

5.00Our experience was top notch. we had a brief tour of their distillery and the process used to create their different spirits. The next stop was our pairing. We were seated at a table and were guided through our tasting and which chocolate to pair with which. After this we were invited to try the different rums with the different chocolates to create our own pairings. this was followed up by a delicious drink. Staff was wonderful and I would definitely come here again for one of their other pairings they offer.

5.00Great tour and tasting with Andres. Andres was very knowledgeable on tour and tasting. Really excellent, delicious rum, coming from rum aficionados. Highly enjoyable experience - right by cruise ship port so especially convenient to cruisers, do it, you won’t be disappointed!

5.00The rum and chocolate experience was a great time!! Andreas made it a fun experience and provided a lot of history of the distillery, rum blending and pairing with different chocolates. Btw try the Rum old fashioned.. absolutely a must try!! We will definitely go back!! Grazie mille Andreas and diolch yn fawr… from the Welsh/Italian couple!!

5.00We had a small wait because each of the experiences were done personal to each group. Because of this they offered for us to taste another drink that was not part of the tasting itself. Highly recommend, rum was amazing and the chocolate pairings were phenomenal.
