The Tasting Rooms are situated on the first and second floor up two flights of stairs. There are handrails on the staircases. Due to the historical nature of the building there is no lift!
All participants must be 18+ years of age (alcohol restriction) - children aged 8-17 will be offered soft drinks.

What To Expect
Join us for a fun and informative spirit tasting starting with a welcome Rum and Mixer as you relax and learn how we make our spirits. This is followed by a tutored tasting of Shakespeare Distillery spirits. (Alcohol served to 18+ guests, children 9-17 will be offered soft drinks.)

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed the rum tasting experience. Our host Katherine was incredibly informative, funny and kept the guests entertained. The experience is relatively short, around an hour long, but I found that length of time to be sufficient. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in how rum is made etc.
Now I feel like a rum expert!

5.00Absolutely amazing experience! This was a Christmas present and it surpassed all expectations by far! An excellent afternoon spent with enthusiastic owners who absolutely loved the business they were in. Thoroughly entertaining and informative and to come out slightly tipsy after the afternoon was an unexpected outcome. The experience was very generous and we had many laughs along the way, with the staff who were passionate about, and absolutely loved the products they were promoting. Definitely recommend 100% to everyone! Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience 😊

5.00Gin experience was great fun! Super venue in centre of Stratford, beautiful old building. Our host had lots of knowledge about the history of gin, the process involved etc. She was very friendly and kept us entertained for the hour. Lovely flavoured gins to sample with different mixers. Really recommend this experience

5.00Brilliant! Went to the 3pm session on a Saturday and it was brilliant. The atmosphere is cosy and informal, the staff are fantastic and totally passionate about what they do - these guys know their stuff and know what they are doing ( they aren’t just hired to run the course). The rum is beautiful and the shop downstairs is worth a visit on its own. The only recommendation I have is don’t drive! You’ll miss out on so much! Had a great time, 3 hours just flew by and we’d love to go again!

5.00We had a great experience at the distillery. The staff were all lovely and very passionate about rum! We tasted 4 different rums, with and without different mixers, my favorite being the aged honey rum. All set in a fantastic old timber framed building on the high street in Stratford. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes rum or gin and hope to visit again sometime.

5.00What an amazing experience ….. we were entertained the entire time by the team, as well as educated about rum making! Their hospitality was fantastic, we had several rum drinks as part of the experience, as well as a tasting session. To top it all off, we stilled and made our own spiced rum to take home. Best experience we have ever been to!!
