Run a half marathon or 10k over the Thames bridges on a self-guided audio tour, triggered by your GPS.
We challenge you to run with us over 17 of the Thames bridges (11 on the 10k route) in a unique self-guided audio tour that takes you from Tower Bridge to Putney or Vauxhall.
With 17 or 11 bridges in total, your GPS location will trigger directions, along with audio commentary that celebrates the history of the glorious River Thames, its bridges and the development of our capital along its banks.
As you cross over every bridge possible along the route, you'll enjoy some of the best views of London, discover their history and get a unique training run in the bag.
Sign up today and take on the challenge at any time between now and 31st October 2024 with an optional finisher medal upon completion.

You will run over London Bridge and learn about the surrounding area.

The run begins in Tower Bridge, where you will see the famous bridge as well as the Tower of London.

5.00I have done 12 half marathons this year and this was my favourite! Such a grest idea and really well organised. As a group of friends we could take part at our own pace and choose a day which suited us all. Loved the facts and banter on the app which we listened to on the way round. Would 100% do another of these self guided runs and have recommended this company to lots of my running friends.

5.00It's my absolute pleasure to give Secret London Runs a review more glowing than a lightning bug's bum! This was the second time I joined their 10k Christmas Lights Jogging Tour, and it was a total delight. I went alone, and was instantly welcomed by a friendly group and a brilliant run leader who kept our spirits high by pumping out upbeat festive tunes (including some soca bangers!), and handing out Christmas tree sweeties at the half way mark. It's a FANTASTIC way to see London's illuminations, meet lovely people, and move your bod.

5.00Great route, fantastic audio guide. I'd done roughly this route a few times over my uni years but hadn't done it for over 25 years and was attracted fo the idea of following a route someone else had planned carefully so I didn't need to. On other city bridge runs sometimes you end up on the wrong side to the interesting bits. This audio guide prevents this. Route well considered. Audio prompts triggered by GPS and very clear & well timed. Never needed to hesitate/check phone. Liked the history & factual info too, learned a lot about places I thought I knew! Really liked that one voice was route & the other factual info... that worked. I was nervous about running that far without music, worried I'd be bored, but the audio input was engaging. The day I had set aside was one of the hottest of the year so views were amazing but it was punishing in places... thankfully after running an exposed stretch I was waiting for that next bridge as usually the other side would offer some shade. Really recommend this run... I'm definitely signing up for the next one which is out soon...😊

5.00We ran / walked the half marathon version of this virtual tour (before the 10K version had been released) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being a GPS based virtual guided tour the advantage is you can complete it at your own pace - no feeling guilty you may be keeping the faster runners of a group waiting! You can also stop and explore a bit if something catches your fancy. The route was well explained and simple to follow, and Vanessa and Josh present a well structured and clear audio for the tour with loads of interesting details and history of London's bridges and waterways. We are now waiting with baited breath to see what the next virtual tour will be, and will be sure to book it, with phones and headphones charged and ready.
