As it is a Catholic church, discreet clothing is mandatory, access may be restricted if the clothing does not meet the requirements.
For safety reasons, children younger than 6 cannot go up the towers and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, people with reduced mobility and those whose ability to move around or interact with their surroundings autonomously and safely is limited by any sort of visual impairment may not visit the towers.
Please note that to go up the tower you will use an elevator but to go down you will need to use the stairs.
The lifts in the towers will be closed in adverse weather conditions including strong winds and/or rain.
The tour is a shared tour, you will be sharing one tour guide and will have radio microphone/earphones to hear the guide better

3.00First of all, this rating is not reflective of the tour guide. Theresa was very knowledgeable and personable. Why the low rating? The security process was overzealous. I had a backpack with various usb cables, camcorder and other assorted electronics that I did not want to leave at the hotel as we could not check in yet. Basically I had to dump everything thing out of the bag including the usb cables to satisfy security. Make sure you take very little with you on visit.

1.00I booked with IBE tours 6 months before our visit. This was to be our first trip to Barcelona! We are only in port one day so we planned 3 excursions and chose tours either great reviews to ensure a perfect day! This tour was booked for 13:15. Sagrada Família decided to close the basilica on our tour date at 14:30, so the last tour time would be 13:15. Our tour operator, less than a week before the tour, refused to honor our reservation and said we had to change it to 11:15. As we were on another tour, that is not possible. All of the other tours for Sagrada for that day were sold out except one private tour that 5 times the cost of the one we booked. I texted with the tour operator several times and they refused to give me a reason they were moving my tour time. No integrity or honesty with this company, avoid at all costs. They ruined our trip we have been planning for 2 years!

5.00Well worth it! The Sagrada Família is an extremely crowded attraction. To explore it without context would be challenging. If you go head to the steeple for unforgettable views. The price for this was only slightly more expensive than official tickets with steeple access (that are hard to come by). Marc was a knowledgeable tour guide who was enthusiastic about the church and willingly took questions from our large group.

5.00Wow! The Sagrada Família came with high expectations given all we had heard and this tour exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this tour as the crowds to see the Sagrada were huge, but this toured allowed us to gain access quickly and our guide Lupe made our group feel intimate and informed versus others we saw wandering around. The tower addition was great as it allowed us to see the details of the tower up close and provided a different perspective. We highly recommend this tour.
