Basilica de la Sagrada Familia
Our Quick Access Tour of the Sagrada Familia starts just steps away from the temple, on Gaudí Avenue. We'll begin by admiring the basilica's oldest façade, the Nativity – the only one Gaudí himself saw completed. This façade resembles a burst of nature, almost serving as a portal to a grand forest. Inside, prepare for one of the most breathtaking moments of your journey as you witness the interplay of light and color from the stained glass windows, set against the backdrop of towering columns that echo giant trees, all supporting the Sagrada Familia's 18 spires. Upon completion, the central Jesus tower will crown this temple as the tallest religious building in the world, reaching a soaring height of 172.5 meters. Lastly, the Passion façade, a more recent addition, poignantly depicts the final hours of Jesus Christ with a stark and allegorical design. Following the tour, you're invited to remain inside the temple, taking your time to explore its wonders at your own pace.

The booking was easy. Tours for today provided information and notices. The staff are friendly from the start and violeta did an amazing job during the tour from outside to the inside of the Sagrada. A must do when you visit Barcelona. Sagrada Familia is awesome in and out. The architecture, concept, and vibe inside are totally different from all the other churches in EU. Thank you!

Our tour of this amazing landmark was on a very rainy and cold day. Unfortunately, so much of what you want to see is on the exterior of the building so we had to remain outside in the inclement weather. There was a lengthy wait to get the tour started, there was a lengthy portion of time to discuss the facades, and other exterior features. Our guide was very well informed but went into miniscule detail of the more technical elements. This was unnecessary and lengthened our time outside and should have been adjusted for the weather conditions. There were several people on the tour that left the guide and explored on their own to get out of the cold wet weather. This review is impacted by the weather conditions. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable but unfortunately did not adapt the tour for the conditions to make the tour more comfortable. I would recommend this tour for a warmer and drier day.

The Sagrada Familia is planned to be complete by June of 2026 -- but the interior is mostly complete (they just need to put the final entry doors up). This church is unlike any other church that you can visit. There are literally thousands of visitors each day. And well worth the visit. Spend the time on the Nativity Facade before entering and take it all in -- there are things all over the place. Details upon details. And then once you enter, it's like you are walking into a forest with tall trees creating a canopy. There is a sense of peace in this place that I have not felt in other churches. It's stunningly beautiful and reverent at the same time. It's hard to describe. Upon leaving there is the Passion Facade -- very different in style and content from the entry side, yet still very much worth the time and observation. Many skip going into the museum beneath the church, but it's worth it. Here you will see how they have approached the construction.

The tour is nice because the guide points out many things that you might overlook if you were just walking around the outside or inside.
