Basilica de la Sagrada Familia
Our Quick Access Tour of the Sagrada Familia starts just steps away from the temple, on Gaudí Avenue. We'll begin by admiring the basilica's oldest façade, the Nativity – the only one Gaudí himself saw completed. This façade resembles a burst of nature, almost serving as a portal to a grand forest. 2.00Overall, the experience was average and not worth the cost in my opinion. A self-guided tour with your own headphones would likely provide a better value and more flexibility. Here were the main issues we experienced: 1. Finding the tour representative was extremely difficult. We arrived early, but the Google Maps location, Viator pickup point, and text message links all showed different meeting locations, which created a lot of confusion. 2. The customer service phone number was not helpful. We were unable to reach a live representative when we needed assistance. 3. The text updates repeatedly instructed us to meet at the pickup point, but the communication lacked clarity and added to the confusion. 4. Compared to other guides we’ve had, this guide was not very engaging at the beginning. Once we received the microphones/headsets, she did explain the sites in more detail and the experience improved somewhat. Also, despite the tour description, there was effectively no “skip-the-line” benefit — we still had to wait in line with everyone else. Overall, I would recommend doing a self-guided tour instead, especially considering the price.

5.00You absolutely cannot go to Barcelona without seeing this cathedral. It is beyond anything I’ve seen before. Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and fun at the same time. Pictures cannot really do it justice, you must see it for yourself; my mouth literally fell open.

They did not let us miss any of the high points of the Sagrada Família. They made great recommendations for the places to visit on property after our tour. 2.00We were not pleased with this tour as felt it was somewhat unorganized. We were on an express tour in the evening and our guide kept waiting for others to join after the start time. Also, our guide was extremely hard to understand for us, and we ended up just breaking off from group and doing our own tour. We have always used Viator and have been very pleased with their tours, but definitely was disappointed this time.
