My wife and I, 50 and 65 respectively booked the 10am saguaro trip (never been on an ebike, don't ride bikes really). Absolutely excellent from the equipment, to the logistics, the guide interaction and the amazing experience of the park on an ebike. Don't hesitate- it rounded out our visit with a memorable wow.

I am 73 and had never operated an E-bike before. We were given easy instructions and didn’t have any problems. I may buy one now. It was so much fun.

Very nice people running it but would make a few suggestions. First, it's a bit overpriced for what it is. $150 dollars per person for 3 hours of a bike rental is steep. 2nd) It would be nice to, if at the very least to have water to offer, if not some full snacks as it gets quite hot and dry in the desert. If I went again, I would skip this activity and rather just drive in the park (you ride on the same road as the cars doing the loop tour) which is $25.00 rather per car, rather than the $300.00 for the party of 2 we were. Lastly, just being honest, it didn't feel great to be asked for tips at the end of the tour with the prices they are charging.

We had a great day on this tour! The crowds were lighter on the early tour at 10am so it was like we almost had the place to ourselves. John was a great guide and had a lot of information about the plants, history, etc. We weren't rushed so we had plenty of time to stop and take pictures and enjoy the views. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the saguaro cactus before this tour; I went just to check it off my National Parks list. But because of this tour, I have now become a convert and truly appreciate them! I would love to come back in the Spring when they are blooming, and to see the sunset. Afterwards, we had lunch at the recommended Saguaro Corner. If you mention the tour, you get free chips and pico. :) James, the tour company owner, was also very friendly and helpful. A great company to work with.
