Afterwards, we enter the Salar de Uyuni and make stops to see salt and salt eyes (water holes on the surface of the salt), then we arrive at the Sal Playa Blanca hotel which was the first salt hotel in the region but due to the negative environmental impact, it currently only works as a museum and dining room. First, you can visit Cañapa lagoon, they are surrounded by flamingos which use them as food and rest points during their migratory movements, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur burned because it is a volcanic area) And for noon you can taste the lunch on the road We continue our journey to the Siloli desert which is an immense bare plain without vegetation and small pebbles, and in the desert there is the stone tree (strange rocky form formed by the erosion of strong winds) is one of the best known places In the south, a short distance away is the Andean Fauna National Reserve “Eduardo Avaroa” (The most visited protected area in Bolivia). We continue our way to Laguna Colorada which is very striking for its reddish color, its waters have their characteristic color due to the pigmentation that the Plankton that lives in the lagoon gives off.
