Train Cemetery
We begin our tour by exploring the fascinating Train Cemetery, located on the outskirts of the city. This impressive historical site allows us to remember and visualize the golden age of the region's mining industry. Here, you'll be able to admire a variety of abandoned and disused trains up close, dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A unique experience for lovers of history and photography! The Train Cemetery is a must for any tourist looking to learn about the culture and history of the Uyuni region.
Colchani
The Colchani Population is a small community located on the shores of the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, where the locals are dedicated to the exploitation of salt and the creation of handicrafts. In this town, you will be able to see how the inhabitants take part of the salt extracted from the salar and use it to create beautiful and original handicrafts. The creativity and skill of the Colchani artisans is truly impressive. Among the handicrafts that can be found are picture frames, jewelry boxes, typical animals of the region and other accessories made with salt and decorated with elements of the Andean culture. In addition to salt handicrafts, in the Colchani Population you can also find beautiful textiles, traditional fabrics and functional or decorative ceramics. Everything sold in this place is handmade and unique. The visit to the Colchani Population is an opportunity to get to know and appreciate the culture, traditions and way of life of the inhabitants of the region.
Salar de Uyuni
This place is considered the largest salt desert in the world and will amaze you with its beauty. You will discover a unique landscape, surrounded by mountains and volcanoes up to 5,000 meters high. As you walk through this place, you will be able to appreciate impressive optical illusions that are accentuated during the rainy season. In addition, you will find the "Ojos de Agua", small salt eruptions that will help you learn about the formation process of this infinite sea of salt. During your tour, you will visit the famous "Hotel de Sal", the first of its kind, which currently functions as a museum. This hotel is entirely built of salt, from its walls to its furniture and ceiling. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take perspective photos in the immensity of the Salar, an experience that you will not be able to forget!
Isla Incahuasi
An essential stop on our tour of the Salar de Uyuni is the Incahuasi Island, also known as the "Island of the Cactus". This island is located in the center of the salt flat and is surrounded by an impressive panoramic view of the landscape. Here, you will have the opportunity to walk among the huge populations of giant cacti that grow on the island and learn about the flora and fauna of the region. In addition, you will also be able to observe sea rock fossils found in the area and appreciate the spectacular views of the salt flat from the top of the island. After exploring Incahuasi Island, we will continue our tour to the San Juan Lodge, where you can kick back and relax after an exciting day of adventures. This hostel is located in a quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by mountains and an impressive view of the salt flat. Here, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest before continuing our tour the next day.

Volcan Ollague
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast to recharge our batteries before leaving at 8:00 am for our next destination: the impressive Ollagüe Volcano. Located on the border between Bolivia and Chile, in the majestic Andes Mountains, this volcano reaches an impressive altitude of 5868 meters above sea level. After enjoying the panoramic views and photographing the imposing silhouette of the volcano, we will head south to visit the beautiful Cañapa and Hedionda lagoons. These lagoons are home to a large number of flamingos and other bird species such as geese and Andean gulls, which add a touch of color to the landscape. In addition, the snow-capped volcanoes that surround the lagoons and the green skirt that surrounds them, create an impressive landscape that will leave you breathless. Don't forget your camera to capture the beauty of this place and take home unforgettable memories of the Uyuni region.
Uyuni
During the way back to Uyuni, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, knowing two very interesting places: First, we will visit the impressive Valley of Rocks, where we can see unique rock formations that have been shaped by wind erosion over time, creating amazing figures that defy the imagination. Secondly, we will visit the colonial church of San Cristóbal, built entirely of volcanic stone and of great size, it is a sample of the religious architecture of the time. This church is considered a historical treasure of the region, with an interior beautifully decorated with religious paintings and sculptures. Undoubtedly, these two places will be an enriching experience to learn more about the history and geology of the region, and also capture impressive photographs to remember this unforgettable trip.

Osvaldo brought us most comfortably and discretely across the salt plains, the flamenco lakes and all the other magnificent parts of nature in the area, giving background and responding to all our questions at expert level. Great 2-day trip through unforgettable natural treasures. Pleasant hotel also. Make sure to ask Osvaldo to be your guide!

Overall our 2 day private tour was amazing! the first day was our favourite, but the second day was good too…just a bit more driving. We were a little nervous given some of the recent reviews, but were really happy with the tour and our guide (Reinaldo). We will be recommending this experience to our friends. The views were amazing and we have so many photos. We loved every stop on the salt flats, the wine and snacks at sunset, taking fun pictures (our guide took some great ones for us), lunch and a hike on an island with cacti, the lagoons with flamingos, the weird volcanic rock shapes,… We felt safe at all times with our guide and noticed he always took care to lock up the vehicle and watch our things. He was really good about asking us what we wanted to see, and when we saw donkeys, a fox, vicuña, llamas he would stop for us to take pictures. He did occasionally look down at his phone while driving on the salt flats, but this was to look at coordinates for something he wanted to show us (we asked). The food was good (at both lunches, dinner and the snack we had at sunset). The salt hotel we stayed at was really nice too. We arrived just before dinner and left early the next morning. All of our entry fees were paid. We did have to pay for bathrooms, but that was expected. The only thing we would have changed is we booked an English tour, but because my husband speaks Spanish were given our tour in Spanish. My husband translated everything, including all of my questions and the responses. Make sure you are very clear if you want an English tour.

No information before tour. Or on tour from the operator. The information on this page is not correct. False information. Ticket entrances not included. There are destinations you are not allowed to visit. For example, volcano ollangue. It's 6 hours from uyuni. Also, you will not receive a refund on tickets when you show that entrance is included. New driver both days. No English speakers. I'm the only one of six passengers who didn't speak Spanish. Read reviews from others. 4 people have given 5 stars. Two of them wrote that they were allowed to sleep in a salt hotel. You don't mention standard. We got after the first day to choose between hostel in uyuni center, where toilet and shower are inside or hostel 20 min from the center with even worse standard. Shower and toilet outside the room. We then chose to sleep in the center. Dinner was supposed to be at 8:00 there. At 8:00 a.m., a girl comes up with 40 bolivian. Where we had to go out and arrange dinner ourselves. 40 Bolivians did not cover our breakfast at the meeting place the first day at the travel agency. When I compare this with what your fellow travelers have told. Would I run away. Others had full schedule and good information with overview from start to finish. Here no info. Big scratch in the lacquer for Trip Advisor. You should remove this package from its site. Not a serious actor. Mvh Dan Sandvik

The truth is, there are many salt flat tours companies that will provide the exact same tour, they all stop at same places and explain same things. BUT the big difference are the drivers, vehicles and guides. This company made regular breaks as you will sitting in a carfor majority of the time. The guides were always trying to raise the people´s spirits and i always felt safe with our driver{s attentiveness. Rolando and Felix a big thanks to you guys.

Fantastic 3D/2N trip. I went with my boyfriend and there were 2 other English speakers in our group. Our guide Wascar spoke perfect English so it was easy to communicate and know about different attractions that we passed through. He also had a great knowledge of pop culture and had a fantastic collection of music to keep us entertained while driving. The food was very good. We are glad we paid for the tour with a reliable company. We had our own room in a Salt Hotel on the first night of the tour. On the second night, we shared a room with 4 beds with two other English speakers who were in the same vehicle as us. We had an amazing time and this will be the most memorable and fun filled trip we have had so far.

Highly appreciate their promptness and puntucality at the same time they never made me or anyone in the group rushed. The stops were carefully chosen, the guide even stopped in two or three places where we spotted Andean rabbits or viscacha. The accomodations were basic except for the forst night in Salt Hotel. Food was always freshly cooked and were deloicious. Highly recommended.

We heard and read about a lot of terrific and horrifying stories about how irresponsible drivers were. With Intiraymi we felt very safe and secured from the moment we booked. We felt that we were in the hands of a professional tour company. They treeated us very nice. On the day of the tour as we met at their office, they conducted a detailed briefing of the driver and the guide. The driver never sped and was always safe. The guide was very nice too, with a lot of knowledge.
