  • Brutal hike if there's any wind and the boat trip is cancelled

That the described trip has a caveat. Windy weather and you have to hile up and down 2 very strep mountains. I was orepared for 1 but 2 at my age was a real stretch.

  • Great experience, but really challenging

The cave & shrine are very beautiful, well worth the effort of getting there and back. And with that in mind, people need to know this can be a difficult hike. On our day, the waves were too high so they could not bring a boat around to ease the trip. That meant we had to hike up and down two mountains, twice (out and back). For someone in good shape, it's no problem. For someone not used to hiking steep climbs of about 1000 feet both up and down (four times, remember), it can be extremely difficult. I would still recommend the tour, just know what you are getting into.

M was great. The winds were crazy so we had to do the full hike instead of taking the boat which I was totally fine with but a few weren’t pleased lol we got free lunch which was delicious we got back to our hotels earlier than expected. Great day I would go again

  • A great experience!

A really nice, well organized excursion. We first went on a hike to the cave, this could be seen in peace, then a short break on the beach and later lunch with delicious Thai specialties, the food was included, we would only have to pay for the drinks, then there was a small boat tour where you could see the fishing boats and on the way back a short stop at the pineapple plantations. Really nice, thanks to the guide!

  • Somewhat overpriced in my opinion.

A bit expensive, in my opinion, especially considering how close the park is to Hua Hin. The experience in the national park was nice but the boat ride and visit to the pineapple plantation were perfunctory and seemed designed to fill out the schedule. Better to charge less and bring clients back to their hotels earlier in the afternoon. Unfortunately, with the exception of the shrimp tempura everything served at lunch was cold, including the soup.

  • A great excursion if you are fit enough to walk the path.

A great excursion if you are fit enough to walk the path. There are about 1000 meters of altitude to master. The path is partly laid out with stairs.

Nice guide, beautiful hike. You go by boat from and to the hiking spot, so eventually bring shoes for walking a few metres through the water. Hiking Level of the tour is not that difficult - it goes up and down a hill (twice). Lunch is really good, even vegetarian and vegan options possible. 10/10 would recommend!

The boat trip along the river in the fishing village, at the end of the trip, as compensation for the non-existent boat transfer to the beach, from where the ascent to the cave took place, was superfluous without further announcements from the guide. Nevertheless, all in all a nice day.

  • One of the highlights of southern Thailand!

If you love caves, nature and power spots, this is the perfect place for you! It's too far from Bangkok for a day trip, so it's best to join Hua Hin for two nights. The tour began with a visit to a fishing village near the entrance to the national park. The colorful boats and traditional boat houses created a unique landscape, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. As soon as you enter the park, board a dinghy boat to the beach with a hiking road leading to the cave. If the sea is rough, you can reach a similar spot by walking in the mountains for about 30 minutes. It's easier by boat. The hike to the cave is short, but physically it is quite hard as you climb quite steep stone steps. It is recommended to prepare a large amount of water. However, the landscape beyond the stone steps is very mysterious and majestic. There may be similar places, but I don't think you can get that close. It's worth watching the sun shine down on the royal pavilion again and again. There are also fine stalactites everywhere in their original form. This is the distance to touch. Anyway, it is a place full of power, so you can forget tiredness on the return trip and come home feeling well. Local Thai food eaten at restaurants on the dock increases satisfaction. I think it is a place where the world should know more, including Hua Hin.
