Sam Roi Yot
Visit Thailand's first coastal National Park Sam Roi Yod with its 300 Peaks. Many Birds and Wild animal have there home at the Sam Roi Yod National Park. Visit the Fishing Village Ban Phu and take a boat from there to the white Sand Laem Sala Beach Please note: Sometimes there are high waves and the boat may not be able to go to Laem Sala Beach. You would then have to cross the mountain on foot which takes about 30 minutes to get to Laem Sala beach and back the same way. It is exhausting but from the mountain you have also a beautiful view. In this case, we will make an additional river boat trip on the Pranburi River after lunch. Our Tour Guide will ask you on pick up if you have problem with walking over the mountain for health or age reasons, and you can cancel the tour.
Laem Sala Beach
From Laem Sala Beach there is a climb up the mountain about 430 meters (1,410 ft) to reach Phraya Nakhon Cave, a large cave which has a hole in the ceiling allowing sunlight to penetrate. Khuha Kharuehat Pavilion (พระที่นั่งคูหาคฤหาสน์) is a historic site built for King Chulalongkorn's visit in 1890. At certain times the sun will shine directly on it and it will look so amazing beautiful. The pavilion has since become the symbol of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Although this is not designated as a swimming excursion, there may occasionally be an opportunity to swim after visiting the cave. This depends on the time of year, as well as the prevailing wave, water, and current conditions. As a precaution, you are welcome to bring your swimsuit.

The guide was brilliant. The hike quite hard in 35 degrees but worth it when we got there.

The hotel pickup was such a great touch—no added stress trying to find a meeting point, which made the whole experience start off smoothly. I’d definitely recommend bringing your swimwear and sandals so you can enjoy the beach afterward. Wearing shorts is ideal since you’ll need to walk out to the boat during low tide. The hike itself is pretty strenuous, but absolutely worth every huff and puff. There’s a nice resting area about halfway up where you can catch your breath and take in the beautiful views, which makes the climb even more rewarding. Overall, a memorable experience from start to finish!

Somewhat strenuous hike, but doable for nearly all skill levels. Beautiful caves and impressive temple, this excursion is definitely worth it. I'd say a must-do when you visit Hua Hin.

A very efficient guide collected us on time from the hotel and picked up the rest of the group , we visited a fishing village which was charming and an interesting pineapple farm on the way to the cave. Luckily the sea was calm so we got a boat to the national park which had a beautiful beach and then we did the fairly arduous climb up to the cave on the steep bit the guide was very helpful The temple in the cave is quite fantastic with the light shining onto it Suggestions …take a small towel as you have to wash and dry your feet after boat trips . Take swimming stuff as the sea and beach are beautiful . Take plenty of water it’s a steep climb on a hot humid day . Everyone enjoyed a good Thai lunch on the way home

It was windy so it was not possible to use the boat, according to the description of the excursion, it would be a boat trip after instead. When we had lunch, the guide says that we offer the drink with the food when there was no boat trip, how can a boat trip be exchanged for 4 water?? The description says that water is included! So we feel a little cheated by this excursion which is expensive in relation to what you get for your money.

The cave is located in a national park. Access is via a steep trail. The temple (or oratory) is beautiful.

It was a hard climb to the top, but so worth the effort. Our guide Em was wonderful, and provided great insight to the temple and the surrounding district.

That the described trip has a caveat. Windy weather and you have to hile up and down 2 very strep mountains. I was orepared for 1 but 2 at my age was a real stretch.
