This is an amazing authentic kendo dojo! The instructors are professional, patient and friendly, giving clear guidance for beginners. The training environment is traditional and neat, with complete kendo gear provided. The atmosphere is respectful, warm and inclusive. It’s not only great physical training but also a wonderful experience to feel the spirit of bushido. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our experience! One of the best bookings we have done. Toshi was an exceptional teacher and everyone was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. We went through the history of Kendo and learned the various techniques. Having never done it before Toshi does a great job of explaining all of the fundamentals to quickly pick up. Your photos and videos are also taken care of; you receive a Google Drive link a day or so after, and the quality is great. Be sure to book this for a one of a kind class!!

Absolutely recommend this experience to anyone that’s considering trying a martial art while in Japan. I’ve practiced martial arts for just over 20 years and was looking for an authentic experience while on holiday in Japan. Toshi is a fantastic instructor with lots of experience and makes it even better with his charismatic personality and encouragement during the session. I found it very well rounded with a great balance of history, explanation of the technical details of the art and how it has evolved to present day practices. While it is an introductory session, all of the details of the art are included such as Reiho, ashi sabaki, and the waza. Everyone had a ton of fun in the class and the time flew by in an instant. I being I could have stayed longer or done more sessions as it was extremely fun. Please check out this experience if you’re in Osaka and looking for an opportunity to learn some authentic martial arts training.
