5.00We had a superb time. The course was extremely well-organized. The instructor was courteous and kept checking if we were doing okay. We learned enough techniques that we were actually able to spar with each other and the instructor, which was the highlight. They sent us a bunch of photos, which turned out fantastic.

5.00Amazing experience! Toshi and his wife were gracious hosts. After learning about the history of kendo, we practiced how to meditate and use proper form. We then put on gear for more practice and sparring. This even included a few rounds with the instructor! Toshi was very encouraging and a true master of his craft. And the photos were fantastic. The highlight of our trip to Osaka!

5.00This was awesome. I didn't have any background in this sport but from entering I was warmly welcomed. I got an outfit and some history. We proceeded with the basics and defense maneuvers. After that it was time for battle and sparring. I really enjoyed this so much so when you are near give this a shot. I would go again. I also got lots of picture and videos.

5.00I looked for kendo training all over japan, and when i found this place i didn't hesitate to book it. And wauw i'm so glad i did! Me and my girlfriend were so lucky only to be us 2. The kendo training is run by a couple and they are the nicest people, we learned history, meditation, kendo etiquette, basic technics/strikes and ran us through different combo's. Which prepared us for a final 1v1 kendo fight. We also had the chance to get schooled by the teacher in a 1v1 (his very talented). With this whole experience they also took alot of pictures and videos which they shared with us, to remember this amazing experience. It was easily one of the most fun experiences we've done in japan! 11/10 would recommend everyone doing!

5.00This was my first time ever trying Kendo, and I honestly had such an amazing experience. I loved learning the basics, the techniques, and the movements—and even getting the chance to spar with Mr. Tash! Everyone was incredibly kind, respectful, and genuinely excited to share their knowledge. It made the whole experience feel really welcoming and enjoyable. Also, amazing workout that made me push harder. I had so much fun and would absolutely do it again and again, made me want to stay even longer to learn more! 11/10 experience!! Best tip, the equipment they give will 100% protect you, and take time with the movements to get them down. Thank you for my first Kendo experience, it was the best! - Markis Duffy

5.00Toshi and Yumiko were amazing! They were entertaining, encouraging and made this experience so much fun. We don’t have a martial arts background so we’re unsure what to expect, but this is a unique experience that we’ll be talking about for years to come. If you’re looking for something different and are of a reasonable fitness level, this is an activity that I’d highly recommend. Thanks again Toshi and Kumiko, we had a blast!
