Our San Andreas Fault tour with Sarah of Big Wheel Tours was a highlight of our vacation. Sarah possesses a wealth of knowledge ranging from from wildlife to geology to flowers, and we were delighted to be able to learn quite a bit from her about the area. She also loves what she does and it clearly showed. Big Wheel Tours aims to please; I wanted to climb up the ladders to the slot canyons, and Sarah made sure to include this in our tour. I heartily recommend Big Wheel Tours - and make sure to ask for Sarah!

It was obvious that the tour guide, Sara, had a lot of passion and was very knowledgeable regarding all the many things she was describing on the tour. We were fortunate to have had this experience with Sara.

What a lovely day! Sarah was outstanding: friendly, personable, knowledgeable, flexible. She was a delight and the tour was amazing! We were intrigued with the scenery and learning about the San Andreas Fault. The off-roading was a treat, and the terrain amazing. We learned so much and had such a great day. Sarah took care of our every need. We’ve used Big Wheel Tours before and once again were very pleased with their SUV and the service. Highly recommend this informational and relaxing tour. It’s the perfect balance of time in the car, opportunities to walk about and see the terrain, and timely restroom breaks. Having water and snacks available also helped make the tour enjoyable.

Sara(h) met us promptly and was enthusiastic from the get-go! She was well versed in the region's geology and shared fascinating facts about the fault lines and other features of the area. She brought us to a hidden slot canyon that gave us a wonderful hike through narrow passages that included some challenging ladder climbs along the way. She routinely asked for our comfort levels and always offered options of turning around or continuing, to which we always chose to journey on. There were bathroom breaks at the beginning and end of the adventure, along with provided water and snacks. This company focuses on customer service, education and fun! Thank you Sara(h)!!!
